Greenhouse is mostly done! Aside from paint and a few details. Frist came so didn't get to give the whole thing one coat, but I'll do that as soon as the temperature stays decent. Inside there's still quite a but of work to do, but hopefully I'll get it all done in reasonable time for growing season!
Garden is growing!
The new garden is getting its first beds!
I'm going for a more organic design than the straight lines on my growveg plan. The veggies will also be mixed, the only system will be one kind of brassica per bed (if they look similar as young plants). Hoping it'll work, but still a lot to do!

Recieved my order of bare-root perennials! Never tried ordering that before, so no idea what to expect, but I'm really happy with it! Loomed like strong, large roots, some of them already waking up. That might be a touch early, but I'm sure they'll survive living in pots for a month or two.
There's irises, gladioli, Salvia, and all kinds of goodies!
Repotted! They needed bigger space, and damn of it didn't show fast! Could almost hear them stretch their roots and go 'yaaaay' before shooting up! They grow up so fast... XD
More seeds sown! Rou d two of a few of those that died, and some new ones, all of them perennial flowers. Aquilegia, Poppy, delphiniums, etc. I love the tall flowers!
The plants are doing well! I like the size of most of them, seems nice and compact. The brassica I gueeeeess could be smaller, and yeah, I got eager and sowed them too early, but they're not too bad! The room is around 15°C with lots of light, but almost all the lights are regular LEDs you can get at any hardware store. All I go after is lumen and Kelvin, the higher the better for lumen, and kelvin around 4-6K.cold light in other words.
I really like the soil blockers! Sure, takes a little time getting the mix right so the blocks stay together, but so easy! All I need are trays which I get either cheap at Ikea (the shoe trays) or the baskets that mushrooms come in to the stores, and they're just happy that I take them off their hands! And repotting is so easy! Make the block, pop the smaller block in, and done! Will be interesting to see how the seedling do when I plant them out. The blocks supposedly limit the transplant shock, so I might do some experimenting a bit later, see the difference between regular plug tray seedling and soil block seedlings. Either way it's less plastic I need!

The new season has started! And in a new garden where I can do whatever I want! It's a luxury problem to have this much space and so many opportunities, and I've redesigned it more times than I care to admit.
It's going towards autumn, and things are dying down. Sunflowers are still going strong though! One of my sunflower-trees (tree because it got huge with lots of branches) broke from its own weight, but the other one is still doing good. Then there's the giants by the wall that's easily one and a half my height!
Marigolds are doing great too, never had such numbers of blooms before, and they're all self sown! I planted them in clumps, and I'll be doing this from now on, it looks great!
I still got things to harvest, but the season's brussel sprouts has been lost unfortunately. Oh well, it happens. And next season I'll have a brand new garden to play with! Gonna need a literal ton or five of compost, but that's part of the fun! My very own garden!
Well, so this turned out to be the last season in this garden. Because we bought our first house! And not only that, it has over an acre lawn! Hah, won't be lawn for much longer! We take over October 1st so we'll see if I do anything with it this year or spend the winter planning.
The garden is ripening!
A variety of tomatoes, multicolored chilis, cauliflowers, purple kohlrabi, cucumbers, sunflowers as always, in a damn tree form! That bastard is huge! Leek, and onions that could've been larger.
Overall, very happy!
It i get this many ripe tomatoes... Damn. And that's just one cluster, there's more than one on each plant and I got three plants like this...
Also the broccoli are growing up! I've harvested four by now, and got about seven more plants coming along.
Aaaand of course! Things go out. Other stuff goes in!

I looove my garden!
First storage harvest! Beets! Left a little long but they got real tender while pickling. They were supposed to be striped, but the color leeched. Hopefully they'll be good anyway!
A bit of spices too. A small sage leaf, a few peppercorns and some whole cloves in each.
