when u tie ur life force forever to the kid fated to die at sixteen but he's ur best friend so ur world wouldn't be complete without him anyway. and u both have another best friend and all three of u know that she will watch u both die in a few years but ur all ignoring it because no one wants to think about it. and she's already watched her older sister 'die' and lost her brother to evil but fate is fate. and u wont even have a chance at rebirth or reincarnation because u aren't human. so ur gonna be a plant forever and have no chance at seeing them again. but it's always worth it because the empathy link means u get three more years together instead of dying in this cyclops cave.
