So on the fma amino I talked about an AU where Ling and Lan Fan are the main characters, and Ed and Al take their places. There was interest for art of it, so here's some doodles~

A bit of backstory;

-Ling and Lan Fan are orphans (not related) adopted by a man they called their grandfather. Their grandfather dies, they try to bring him back-eventually Lan Fan's soul is sealed in a suit of old Xingese military armor and Ling becomes Xing's version of a state alchemist (would you call it an "alkahest"? :0)

-Ed is the prince of a poverty stricken version of Amestris, and comes to Xing to find a stone to help his country's people. Al is Ed's half brother, and since Al was not eligible for the throne (through some wacky biological logic) he is made a knight who must protect Ed with his life.

-Since the AU is focused on Xing now, I suppose its story is all about alkahestry rather than alchemy (in this version of the story alkahestry allows you to attempt human transmutation)
