I wasnât able to draw at the time the Pacific Rim sequel was announced, so to compensate, I animated all the drift compatibles dancing horribly in celebration of the upcOMING ANIMATED SERIES 8V
OH MY GOD THIS IS PURE GOLD I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
can i ask why specifically that you hated this last episode of doctor who so much?
It was SO BORING???? It was so poorly written, the effects were garbage especially considering how large the budget is for the show, the storyline dragged and made no senseâŠthe whole thing was kind of offensive to me. Like sure, we have some really shitty Doctor Who episodes in the past, and we all just let them happen (Iâm looking at you Love and Monsters). But thatâs back when a) the show didnât have very much money and b) IT DIDNâT TAKE ITSELF SO SERIOUSLY. If Moffat and the other show runners are going to insist that this is a serious show, with serious plot lines where main characters die and then Iâm supposed to forget about it (Clara) or where huge themes of the show are unravelled in one moment (50th anniversary) - then they need to actually treat it that way. You know, put a BIT of effort into their scripts. But this last episode was not only ineffectual, it was lazy. Letâs talk about why:
There was no legitimate reason for the action of the story - aka, why did they have to go into a dalek? At one point, Clara even asks this question and receives no answer. The soldiers in the base obviously arenât forcing the Doctor to do anything, since he was able to leave and go pick up Clara. They donât NEED to do anything with this dalek - there was no indication that they thought helping this one dalek could somehow save the war for them. It was all just like - âIâm curious.â Letâs go into THE MOST DANGEROUS PLACE IN THE UNIVERSE just because the doctor is INTERESTED IN THIS TURN OF EVENTS. There is no acute tension there AT ALL
Which made all of the deaths in the episode shallow and useless. It made me actually pretty sick to watch all these characters die in a way that is supposed to be poignant - âname something after meâ - but in what way was that earned??? They didnât have to die. None of this episode had to happen. There was no urgency in this at all
The green screen doctor speech where he has the ââârealizationâââ that heâs not a good dude - lol ok. Lollllllll ok. Not only was that some of the worst effects Iâve seen on TV since 2002, it wasâŠcondescending? Do you really think that I donât know what the doctor is up to? Unlike the showrunners, I actually remember what happens in the show and I know about the doctorâs internal struggle with good and evil - I donât need it to be spelled out for me in the most explicit terms possible, while watching green screened daleks in the background
"I wish you hadnât been a soldier" - did Moffat forget entirely about Martha? Jenny? This show is garbage
Iâm tired of being subjected to lazy scripts that donât hold together under even slight inspection!! This is a show that I love so much, that matters so much to me, and itâs horrible to watch it be dragged through the mud. The next episode looks interesting and Iâm excited to see what happens with Danny PinkâŠbut at the same time, what makes me think any of this will come to an interesting fruition? It hasnât before, it hasnât in years. Fuck this.

Greed scowled, crossing his arms. âI did have plenty of ideas you know, I just⊠was trying to choose between them, thatâs all.â
Though, he really didnât mind Ling choosing the place. It was certainly less pressure. And of course, whatever heâd picked, it wasnât like Greed would care. He was sure tonight would be fun for him regardless; Ling seemed interesting after all, in addition to smelling like something out of Greedâs fantasies.
"But hey, if youâve got a better plan, I guess Iâm all ears. Whatâd you have in mind?"
Was heâŠpouting? Ling couldnât help but laugh at the manâs expression as he crossed his arms like a stubborn child. âYouâre a bad liar.â The statement is said with some amusement, a half smile spread across the younger manâs face. It was endearing, really.
"Well, you see, thereâs this lovely little restaurant not to far from here." By now they had left the gym and now stood just outside the entrance, the boys arms crossover over his chest and he shrugged. "I assume you want me to lead the way?â As he spoke his smirk, seemingly harmless and playful, returned.
Greed scoffed. Damn, the nerve of this kid. But then again, he supposed it was his own stupid fault for not thinking before words came out of his mouth. He sighed.
"Yeah, sure. Lead the way." He said with a grudging smile. "Anyways... if you moved here recently, where are you from? And you mentioned school, right?"
He had to admit, he was curious about Ling. For one thing, he'd never met anyone with anywhere near the scent he had. How did he get it? Was it genetic or acquired or what? And it wasn't just that. Greed wasn't even using his influence anymore, and Ling was just completely casual. Most humans would have started to get nervous again by now, and this kid was teasing him.
Ling was just... interesting. Slightly different that any other human he'd met, and twice as enticing.

"Uh.. yeah, of course. Sure." He said, trying for a casual tone as he grabbed his own things. He wracked his brain, trying to remember what other people had said about nearby places as they walked to the door. There was one place a couple blocks over that had all those great reviews, wasnât there? But that was super fancy, expensive. Sure, Greed had the money to pay for both of them but⊠maybe that was a bit much for casual lunch? Was it? Shit, he had no clue.
Maybe that place that Dol used to like? That guy liked food. He probably had good taste. Probably.
Ling could hear the otherâs nervousness in his tone and the boy couldnât help but smirk. As they left the locker room he could see clearly that the other was wracking his brain for something, thinking much harder then needed. âRelax,â he started off, the smirk spreading further across his face. âIâve got a place in mind, I was just teasing you.â
Greed scowled, crossing his arms. "I did have plenty of ideas you know, I just... was trying to choose between them, that's all."
Though, he really didn't mind Ling choosing the place. It was certainly less pressure. And of course, whatever he'd picked, it wasn't like Greed would care.  Greed smirked, feeling victorious. That went well, he gloated to himself, stepping aside so he was no longer blocking off the entire hallway. Now that he was reasonably assured that the kid wasnât just going to run off before Greed could get him alone, he could afford to be more relaxed.
"Well then, Ling, if youâre packing up to leave anyways, shall we find somewhere to eat? Whatâre you in the mood for?â
Of course, Greed didnât care where they went, since he didnât eat anyways. Or at least, he didnât eat anything at the restaurant. Or, not anything they served at the restaurant.
With Greed finally out of the way the boy was free to pack his stuff together, a soft hum escaping the boyâs throat. It only takes but a minute for him to finish up, the bag slung loosely over his shoulder as he turns to the other, a questioning look crossing his features in response to Greedâs words. âIâm not particularly picky, besides I thought you intended to show me around.â
Er. Shit, Greed had promised that hadn't he. He cursed under his breath. It was true he knew this city like the back of his hand, but... for things like partying! And drinking! Now that he was actually on the spot... what the heck did he know about places to eat, anyways? He ate people.
"Uh.. yeah, of course. Sure." He said, trying for a casual tone as he grabbed his own things. He wracked his brain, trying to remember what other people had said about nearby places as they walked to the door. Greed rolled his eyes. âAh, come on kid, live a little! Whatâs the harm, huh?â He smiled, trying his best to be convincing. Luckily, his natural powers helped with that. He could be vary convincing. At the very least, he could make sure Ling wasnât scared of him. Random guys trying to pick you up out of nowhere could be fairly scary. âThink of it this way. Youâre new here, Iâve been here forever, I know all the best spots, it makes sense. I can be⊠a tour guide of sorts. And besides, you canât study all the time. You gotta eat anyways, right?â
"So whatdâya say?"
And his abilities certainly were working, in fact the boy hadnât even noticed when the man was beginning to affect him. It was subtle as the man eased his nerves just enough to not want to outright flee from his current position, to keep the boy from feeling cornered.
Still he eyes the man warily, arms crossing over his chest and his expression thoughtful. âBy a complete stranger?â He sounds skeptical, an eyebrow raised at the man who stands before him. But thereâs a smile on his face regardless, particularly at the mention of food. âHm, well if we make it a coffee and lunch you may just have yourself a deal.â A free meal? It was rare that he would ever pass up such an opportunity. Besides the man had a point, not eating after a workout never ended well for the poor foreigner.
Greed smirked, feeling victorious. That went well, he gloated to himself, stepping aside so he was no longer blocking off the entire hallway. Now that he was reasonably assured that the kid wasn't just going to run off before Greed could get him alone, he could afford to be more relaxed.

"Nameâs Greed." He shot Ling his most winning smile. "Itâs a real pleasure to meet you," he added teasingly.
He was probably starting to look a little strange by this point, standing there and making no move whatsoever to actually do what people came to gyms to do, but he didnât really care. He had other priorities anyways.
"Look, Iâm gonna be blunt," Greed said, leaning in slightly. "How would you like to get a drink with me? Coffee maybe?" Heâd normally suggest alcohol, but human didnât tend to get drunk this early in the day, did they? Coffee was normal, right?
Blunt indeed. As the mean leans towards him he raises both eyebrows and wears a fake and seemingly innocent smile. âI see, that certainly isâŠblunt." His smile falters for a moment and he glances at his half open locker, the contents halfway hanging out. Thereâs a small pause before he turns to face the man once more. "Iâd like to, butâŠ" An apologetic smile forms on the young manâs features as he chuckles nervously. The idea of dating a man certainly unnerved him, much less being hit on by a man. Especially when Ling had no idea who this guy was. âI should be going, lots of studying to do you see.â

"I figured. I think I would have noticed you,â Greed said with a grin. The kid was pretty difficult to miss in an enclosed space like this. He reached one arm out to lean against the locker, effectively blocking the way out, casually.
"So, whatâs your name anyways?"
The young man is smart enough to know what the other man was trying to get at, he was being hit on. And heâs not sure how he feels about that, and so he feigns innocence, an eyebrow raised at the man. âLing.â He offers his name casually, silently noting how the man was effectively blocking him. He wasâŠpersistent, wasnât he? âAnd yourself?â
"Name's Greed." He shot Ling his most winning smile. "It's a real pleasure to meet you," he added teasingly.

Greed shook his head, trying to clear it. âEr⊠yeah. Sorry. I was⊠a little distracted.â He was still distracted, actually, especially since the kid heâd bumped into wasnât wearing a shirt, and now that Greed had a chance to look, it turns out he was appealing in more ways than one.
"Hey, I havenât seen you around here before," Greed said casually, recovering his composure and leaning against a locker. "You new in town or something?"
âI see.â Nodding slowly in understanding the young man glances between the stranger before him and his locker as if to silently but politely ask the man to move. He was almost finished dressing and though heâd never say it out loud, he did have things he needed to get done.
And then the man decided to strike up friendly conversation. Turning his attention more on the man then his own thoughts he raised an eyebrow. âAhâŠI suppose you could say that. Why?âÂ

Greed always loved coming to the gym. Not to work out, of course, he we a vampire with supernatural strength, he didnât need to lift weights. No, he wasnât there to exercise, he was there to feed. An entire establishment full of healthy, fit humans? It was the perfect hunting ground. Especially since Greed tended to prefer his prey young and attractive. Gyms were great for that too.
He had to at least pretend he was working out, though, so he made his way to the locker room to change. He was heading to his usual locker when he stopped dead in his tracks, the scent of the room hitting him. It always smelled like human in an enclosed space, of course, the scent of sweat and blood mingling together. But today there was something else mixed in there as well. Something⊠sweet. It had to be the scent of one of the humans in here. Who the hell was that coming from?
Whoever it was, they smelled ridiculously tempting.
Greed glanced around, trying to follow it to the source. It took him a minute of walking down isles of lockers, getting more impatient and frustrated by that scent by the second, until finally he jogged around a corner to the last row of lockers and nearly ran into a human. The human he was looking for, judging by his scent. Damn, it had to be some kind of illegal for someoneâs blood to smell that good.
Heâd definitely found his next meal.
Thankfully he wasnât naked (just shirtless) when another person slammed into him, their bodies colliding in a rather violent fashion. Whoever the stranger was they certainly seemed like they were in some sort of rush, for what Ling could only imagine. Catching himself quickly the young man takes a quick step back and regains his balance.Â
Squinted eyes focus upon the intruder and his eyebrows furrow together,  the shirt in his hands held tightly as he tilts his head in question towards the stranger. He seemed disheveled and just a bit upset, had he lost something perhaps? He doesnât need to clear his throat to get the strangerâs attention but he does so regardless before speaking up. ââŠis everything alright?â The man sure seemed worked up, though in what way it was difficult to tell. And had he not already had his mind so set on finals he would perhaps show more genuine concern.
Greed shook his head, trying to clear it. "Er... yeah. Sorry. I was... a little distracted." He was still distracted, actually, especially since the kid he'd bumped into wasn't wearing a shirt, and now that Greed had a chance to look, it turns out he was appealing in more ways than one.

It wasnât unusual to find the young man in the gym during his free time, hell some might say it would be more unusual not to find him there during his free time. He was dedicated to stay fit, in fact he was dedicated to a myriad of things that many would find strange. Of course thatâs just one of the many things that came along with being a foreigner in America.
So today was no different, heâd just finished his workout and was at his locker changing back into his normal clothes. He still had plenty of studying to do, finals were coming up and were proving to be a real pain in the ass this semester. He was almost done and he didnât have time to be goofing off. Not that he did much of that to begin with.
Releasing a soft sigh the man unlocked his locker and swung it open, kicking off his shoes and pulling out his bag and clothes to get changed. Studying aside it felt good to finally get a workout done, it hadnât been too long but with how busy heâd been it felt like ages.
Greed always loved coming to the gym. Not to work out, of course, he we a vampire with supernatural strength, he didn't need to lift weights. No, he wasn't there to exercise, he was there to feed. Greed smiled at the reaction he was having on Ling, enjoying the feeling of the human on top on him. He nipped along Lingâs neck gently, fighting the temptation to sink his fangs into the skin.
This really was fun. It was so much fun but⊠well, Ling was still shaky and Greed couldnât afford to lose control and take any more blood. So reluctantly, he pulled away slightly, breathing heavily. He sat up, dragging ling with him so that he was resting up against him.
"Alright. So. What do you have to do for fun around here, hmm? Preferably that doesnât involve books."
His breath hitches as Greed nips along his throat and neck, a shiver running up his spine. Greedâs influence still holds him and so as Greed pulls away the young man lets out a sound of disapproval, pulled so that he was sitting at the manâs side. He considers hopping back on the manâs lap but is pulled from his thoughts when Greed speaks. Turning his head to face the man he lets out a soft huff. âIâŠhave some games, I guess.â He normally didnât play video games, why he even had the thing in the first place was a mystery, truth be told.Â
Greed made a slightly frustrated noise as he tried to dial back the power he was exerting over the human by his side before either of them got any more worked up. Ling was practically squirming against him thanks to his power; it was tempting as hell and it was really testing his self control.
Games sounds like a good a distraction as any.
He pulled himself up, making quick work of setting up the system and digging through the game options, trying to clear his head.
"How about this one?" Greed asked, holding up what looked like some sort of shooting game with lots of gore on the cover.

Greed kept the book out of his reach playfully. âTsk tsk, I donât think so. Youâre gonna freaking relax, and thatâs final.â He tossed the book behind him, then tugged Ling over on top of him, laughing.
"Weâll just have to find another way to entertain ourselves that doesnât involve school, or books. Do you have any ideasâŠ?" he asked teasingly, running one hand along Lingâs waist gently, his voice low and his power expanding to keep him calm. And maybe a little bit more than calm. He couldnât help it. The human was so close, and he smelled so nice, and Greed couldnât help but lean in and catch Lingâs lips with his own.
Normally the man would pull away in an instant. He was never one to be sexual, let alone comfortable in sexual situations. In any other situation he would have kicked the man out without a second thought. But Greedâs voice with itâs suggestive undertones suddenly seems very appealing, his hands brushing along Lingâs hips. Hell everything about him suddenly seems appealing.
As Greed speaks studying slowly but surely seemed to become less appealing, his focus turning to how he was in Greedâs lap and how his hands traveled along the boyâs sides and hips. And as Greed's lips catch his own he returns it, leaning in and relaxing against the sin. After a few moments he lets out a soft sigh and pulls away, eyes suddenly open and meeting Greedâs own. âI might have a few.â His own voice mimicâs Greedâs previously, the undertone suggestive and low.
Greed smiled at the reaction he was having on Ling, enjoying the feeling of the human on top on him. He nipped along Ling's neck gently, fighting the temptation to sink his fangs into the skin.

Greed just stared at him openmouthed. Was this kid serious? Heck, Greed knew it wasnât studying that made him pass out but Ling didnât know that! And his solution was more studying!?
He scowled and snatched the book out of Lingâs hands. âLook, so apparently youâve got the worlds greatest work ethic or something, Mr. A+ Grades, but according to you, you studied until it made you fall unconscious last night, so how about you give it a rest.â
He set the book aside, away from Ling, and picked up the TV remote. âHow about we actually just chill out instead, huh?â he teased, reaching out with that slight calming influence to help Ling relax, since obviously it wasnât an idea he was used to.
Having the book snatched from him made him huff, head snapping towards the man. Â Of course with Greedâs influence he finds himself merely annoyed by the other rather than mad. âItâs rude to take things without asking for permission, you know.â Attempting to grab it back he lets out yet another huff. âDidnât you hear what I just said? I need to get work done!â Heâd take it easy, really. Just some light reading.Â
Greed kept the book out of his reach playfully. "Tsk tsk, I don't think so. You're gonna freaking relax, and that's final." He tossed the book behind him, then tugged Ling over on top of him, laughing.
