Ok. Since its #tattootuesday in social media world, allow me some words regarding my tattoo. This #rainbow #yingyang was my very first tattoo at 19. Was I 100% sure of who I was at that time? Nope. Was I sure I was queer and proud? Yes. The hate crime that happened in #orlando spoke volumes to me. Fellow brothers and sisters killed while being someplace that was supposed to be a safe haven. I've been beat up, spit at, verbally and emotionally abused for being who I am. I'm personally horrified and have genuine fear for what's to happen, since I refuse to 'blend in' to society. It could've been me, but I will never stop being visible and will be proud of who I am. If I didn't already know it, I definitely do now, #loveislove and #nevergiveup.
