Redmoon Wally was born in Hell, in Cynfael's palace. From birth, Cynfael saw Redmoon Wally as a future successor to the throne and began training him in dark magic and warfare. However, Candor (Redmoon's mother) opposed this training and attempted to teach him the importance of compassion and empathy.

As Redmoon Wally grew, Cynfael became increasingly cruel and demanding of him. Cynfael believed that the only way to strengthen Redmoon was to subject him to brutal training and physical and emotional punishment. Redmoon Wally suffered physical and emotional abuse at the hands of his father, which left him with deep scars and a deep insecurity, which is why he always looks angry or serious, as a way of protecting himself. Despite the abuse and mistreatment he suffered at the hands of his father, Redmoon Wally always remembered his mother's teachings about the importance of compassion and empathy (his mother passed away when he was 11). Honesty taught Redmoon Wally that there's more to life than violence and cruelty, and that it's possible to find strength and power through kindness and generosity. Redmoon has a bodyguard named Bar.B (Barnaby.B), who is also his best friend, and Yulis (Julie Joyful) is his childhood best friend.
