Crawlback before crawling
I have seen my three children do it - and as I am aware this time around, I now see why we do this. It has to do with finding out how to use something and it is essential to all of our future learning in life. So remember that before you start crawling you do crawl back. You get on your knees and lift your body and all of the sudden you notice you can move forward towards something. What drives you towards something is irrelevant at this point, you want to move and in order to get anywhere you will need to shake a lot until you figure a way out. But once you know where you want to go and how to start moving you may realize you need to crawl back before you can start crawling forward. It’s a natural move that helps you get a better grip on momentum. And it happens because it is an important lesson. Momentum as it turns out could be the only amount of input we really need to master to stay moving. It will help you move efficiently and that dance is the movement of life. We can sway ourselves into motion and as we evolve we learn that we can sway entire universes into motion. So before you learn to crawl, take the time to appreciate how it all starts. It’s a really beautiful thing to see how life cradles itself.
Pavilion of Photography in Château la Coste
Château la Coste is a vineyard in the south of France that, in addition to its wine-making program, includes major works of contemporary art and architecture across its 500 acre campus. Joining Tadao Ando, Frank Gehry, and Jean Nouvel, Renzo Piano is the latest Pritzker laureate to complete a structure for the ever-expanding complex. The ‘Pavilion of Photography’ forms a exhibition venue buried six meters below ground.
Surrounded by grapevines, the RPBW-designed building seeks to display art and preserve Château la Coste’s wine supplies. the sunken 285 square meter structure uses exposed concrete for the retaining and exhibition walls, a material choice that contrasts the glazed façades and roof canopy. ‘The partly buried building highlights the roof covered with a sail fastened to thin metal arches,’ explains the architects. ‘these arches echo the graphical layout of the grapevines, enabling to integrate the sail into the vineyard.’

Brazil and it's internet censorship
There’s a lot of information when it comes to Brazil and the ways in which it filters and censors the information given to its internet users. The current issue is trying to protect the freedom of the individuals using the internet while trying to protect those who may be harmed or exposed by internet use. The Marco Civil Da Internet which means Civil regulatory framework of the Internet; establishes a clear set of rights and responsibilities for users, sets strong net neutrality principles and shields internet intermediaries such as internet service providers, social networking, and blogging sites from liability for illegal content posted by users. This Law is a civil one and sets forth clear set rights for users and aims to guarantee that these interests will be protected if or when laws addressing online crime and copy right infringement are introduces in the future. The drafting of this law consisted of insight from civil society groups, law academic experts, internet users and law makers. The goal of this law would be to create a layer of protection for a free democratic society. For the past decade Brazil has pioneered a digital policy making approach that many countries have looked to as a model for promoting innovation and openness online. Advocates are arguing for Brazil’s congress to vote in favor to the Marco Civil. I then looked at Google’s Transparency report and it stated that Brazil tops both requests and content removal charts for the sheer number of requests. 194 Requests for content removal, 554 Requests for Items to be removed and 54% of removal requests fully or partially complied with. Brazil has 50% more than the next highest country Germany. The reasoning that Brazilian Prosecutors and authorities have given as to their high number or requests is related to investigations into child pornography and racism. A few more concerns on a different note are cyber attacks, E-piracy, E-freedom by the public and journalists, and for political reasons. YouTube and WordPress are websites that the Brazilian blocks access to and to top it off Brazil may be the first country to use Twitter’s new censorship policy to silence their citizens. I didn’t know that censorship and filtering of the internet by the government was this bad in Brazil. I guess we are to busy in the US expressing ourselves and indulging in the internet. I do believe that Brazil is a very controversial country and that these actions wouldn’t be taken unless deemed necessary.
