Graves get rescued. He is hurt, but the injury is not life-threatening. He will be fine soon, so everyone is relieved. Except Graves himself. He absolutely can not say that he has ED because of Grindelwald. The male ego doesn't allow him to say it to anyone even to medical staff.

Then Newt and he starts dating. Things are going well, but whenever sexual tension between them gets intense, Graves changes the direction and avoids going further. This drags on, and Newt can't wait anymore. Newt makes a move on Graves. Graves apologetically stops Newt and finally confess that he has ED. Graves expects Newt to be disappointed. Instead, he sees Newt's face lights up.

"Oh I was starting to worry that you weren't sexually attracted to me."

Graves feels bad that he has been making Newt feel insecure.

"I'm sorry, Newt. Of course I am attracted to you. I'm sorry that I've been a lousy boyfriend because of my ego."

Newt squeezes Graves shoulders and smiles at him.

"Well then. Don't worry, Percival. You can have orgasms in other ways. Let me take care of you."

Popentina Goldstein set her foot inside the Woolworth building with full of excitement and a touch of pride. She made it. She’s a junior auror now.

She worked her ass off and did excellent in the initial training. So it wasn’t much of a surprise for others when a senior auror Percival Graves was assigned as her mentor. But she was in shock.

That Percival Graves was her mentor. She was thrilled but nervous at the same time. She started working under him and he was a HARD ASS. Gosh, why is he so mean? She talked to Queenie about him a lot and vented. Queenie knew what was going on in her sister’s mind that she hasn’t even noticed herself yet.

And Graves was strict to her because he cared for her. There were extreme risks come with the job. If she couldn’t meet his expectation, she should not be an auror. He wanted to make sure she would be fine in the field. And he believed in Tina’s potential to be a good auror.

He goes over to Tina’s desk where she is burying her head to finish her report. He swaps his cup with Tina’s.

“I think your sister made this cup for you.”

Tina looks up Graves in confusion. He walks away from her desk and takes a sip from the cup in his hand. “This is how I like my coffee to be.”

Tina is still confused and picks a cup on her desk and drinks it.

“QUEENIEEEE!!!!!”

when Percival Graves cares about someone, he nags.

He nags because he cares, otherwise he will not going to bother talking to you if he doesn’t care at all. His aurors know this. They’ve been at the receiving end of his nagging too much to notice the repeating pattern.

Tina: I should be the one that’s upset. It’s supposed to be me and Newt. Or me and Mr Graves. Or Newt and Graves with me watching!

weeeee this once again became way too long, why do i keep doing that. i had to force myself to stop writing.

i hope you’ll like it, man. 

I’m just imagining this universe in which people are paired at a very young age. like, magic guides them to each other and the family just knows when the perfect person for their child is born. After that it’s a matter of quickly arranging a meeting between the two children even if they live on completely different sides of the world, and it’s tradition for the kids to think of a gift to offer to their intended upon meeting them for the first time.

So Newt learns of the Graves family. How it’s a powerful one, how they come from a family of Aurors, how rich and influential they are. And Newt also learns that Percy wants to be an Auror too.

So Newt is scared for Percy.

He’s never met him but he knows being an Auror is dangerous. Percy could be hurt. He could leave Newt alone, and that just won’t do.

So Newt asks Theseus if there are any charms that exist solely to protect people. Then, Newt wonders how he could protect Percy from afar, as he will go back to America after their meeting. He wonders if said protective charms could be intertwined with an object that Percy keeps on himself all the time - that way Newt can still protect him, even if they are an ocean apart.

This is too much. I was eating grapes for late night snack and this came up while talking to @ladyoftheshrimp

Graves the grapes. Mr. Grapes. Newt definitely wants one.
