A commission for my high school teacher. ♥

Streamed and recorded the process of painting over a doodle of Robin Hood. did it in about 4 hours, that's record time for me for a rough painting! I enjoyed it (especially because Robin is my Best Boi) I'm kinda proud of myself :) I’ll be uploading the process soon!

What a waste. I spent a few days prettying up my tumblr too, only to find out this site is going to more shit. I know i dont have much of an audience here anyway, so perhaps its not that big a loss--it’s just a big bummer in more ways than one.

such a shame, i did post some nsfw art that got attention some time ago on my very inactive nsfw blog.

another thing  thats even more disappointing than the obvious endangering-nsfw-artists-and-freedom-of-expression-in-general thing, is that apparently tumblr’s titty detecting algorithm is stupid and it has flagged completely sfw works that show no kind of nudity at all.

 I’ll still post my shit here, fuck the rules honestly. i’m just very disappointed in how this is handled. I do agree certain pornographic material has no place anywhere (such as child porn, which I believe is the root cause of this entire fiasco) and anyone who thinks otherwise can go get impaled by a rusty pipe. However, the response seems to be very poor and counterproductive. I’m all for regulating content, but not censorship. Your social media is what you make it - if you don’t want to see adult/nsfw content, you can choose to make it so, and you can limit your feed to what you like seeing. Our interests are all different. You don’t force everyone to follow what you want. @/tumblr admins pls.

I’m really apprehensive of this for the same reasons many artists and consumers are. but I wont take my blog down; that said, i’m still more active on twitter (@Grafaite_Art) if youd like to see more frequent updates. I interact with people there more anyway.

y’all i know i dont have much of an audience but hey just in case, i’m setting up commissions and i’ll be ready to take in some soon hek hek I’ll do my best not to disappoint!

Lilith Concept Art

NOT inktober but Yaaay new design! im working on adding more to my portfolio, so here's another concept for my OC Lilith!

In some cultures, the "demon" Lilith from religious mythos is depicted as a birdlike woman of sorts, so I wanted to play around with that concept. I decided to borrow inspiration directly from Shutumon/Zephyrmon of Digimon Frontier, as well as general harpy characters and designs such as Harpy Lady from Yu Gi Oh and the avians from Warcraft.

Some pin designs I made for the first time I tried selling merch at a convention last month. These were done on a REALLY tight deadline and aren’t even the best quality i’d like them as they were super assfucking rushed, but it was fun!! I plan to make lots more but not now; though I’m also thinking of turning these designs into posters/prints, since that fits my style more. Up next on my list - not for the near future, but eventually - are Mordred, Arjuna, Karna, F/SN Cu, and Robin. teehee.
