She looked up from her magazine as he spoke for a couple moments before flipping a page and looking back down. “Hm…” She answered him, just so he’d know she heard what he said. “I told you I don’t like this reflexive ramblings of yours, put up or shut up, cloud hopper…” She murmured before she stood, stretching and cracking s few bones before she headed to the kitchen, bring back a beer and flopping back onto the armchair, feet resting up on the table now.
Hearing the demon Castiel decided to just let the topic rest, he knew she didn’t much care for the vast majority of things he cared to talk about. So rather than attempt to keep a pointless conversation running he ended up staring out into the air. He liked the company of the demon, he just never knew what to make of himself around her.

Castiel was confused more than anything. The fall hadn’t hurt much, but he was awfully disoriented once he realized he was surrounded by sand.
