I try not to get too invested in multimillionaires, but the way people talk about george is so offputting and confusing to me.
-trying to imply that the whole grid actually secretly hates him and that lewis prefers charles based on very conveniently-timed photos.
-george is obviously well versed in the rules of f1 and how it can be improved, but when he brings this up or shows competence in the sport he's ridiculed for it. if he admits fault, he's wrong, if he refuses to take blame, he's wrong?
-even british people (especially men), that like the british drivers exclusively, STILL always make a point of how they hate george because hes a "drama queen" or "annoying/cringe". he gets blamed for doing things that every other driver has done or does do, but it's only bad when he does it.
I cannot for the life of me understand what makes george so much more unlikeable or annoying than the others? most of the things that make george "annoying" would make drivers like max "smart" or "ruthless".
I dont really care if people dont gel with him. but I am super intrigued by this phenomenon, what is it specifically about george that people dislike? why even when faced with reasons for his actions and decisions, do people still ignore them and say he's a bad driver or an unlikable person?
