thinking very hard about postcanon midam when michael’s come back and everything’s finally settled down and they can finally live and be free without the threat of imminent demise via god hanging over their heads. when michael throws archangelic propriety out the window and conjures up his apparition for the sole purpose of hugging adam from behind and kissing his neck when adam’s trying to make dinner and adam laughing and sinking into the embrace instead of worrying about whether michael will leave him or not. he turns around to tease michael about acting like a sap because he knows michael won’t let his dinner burn but he kisses him on the cheek anyway before he turns back to it. michael always kind of thinks about the fact that he could cook all of adam’s food to perfection in less than a second but then he turns to look at adam’s smile while he’s in the middle of doing it and knows that he could never take these little joys away from him. and in their body their soul and grace curl around each other until they can’t tell where one starts and the other ends. and they’re happy
