*dial-up noises*

Being supportive of binary people is relatively simple, they have decided to sort themselves into one of the boxes that we have lots of experience interacting with. Being supportive of nonbinary people can be comparatively tricky, because you have to resist the urge to create box C and drop them all there. That's how we end up with various prejudices like "woman lite". Humans really, really like to categorize things. It helps us think. Unfortunately, sometimes it helps us think wrong.

We got:

An eroded design, where it looks like half the mask is rusting and corroding away. When I'm making a batch of masks for stock, I like arranging it so the tattered part is on a part of the hide that has some weird surface texture from a brand or scar. Adds to the texture, and also shows off a piece of leather that would otherwise be discarded.

A robotic design, which I call the Mechanical Oni. Possibly my first design that was assembled out of a bunch of separate pieces? This design works well with contrasting colors.

A very holey design, I was pushing to see how little material could still make a reasonable mask. Abstract, but sort of resembling fibers being pulled apart, or veins on skin, or rivulets flowing on sand.

A clean design with little swirls of wind puffing their way in little eddies across the surface. I really like doing this design in blue colors, especially with some iridescence or sheen to them.

This design I was thinking about the golden age of Hollywood, lights on cinema marquees. Rows of holes of subtly shifting sizes encircle the eyes.

A vampire who's seen better days. Teeth mostly broken away. A shadow of their former self, but still a threat.

Bubbly little design. Frothy even. Might have gone too small on the bubbles to be honest, I may rework this idea some day.
