I'm just glad I managed to write both "In Sickness and in Health" and "Till Death Do Us Part" in a relatively short period.

I was so afraid the story would stay trapped in my head and would never see the light of day

My second Chreon fic is finally done!

“I have it under control, Captain.”

The way he says Chris’s rank is borderline mocking, and Chris sets the mug down, harder than intended, the sound sharp against the counter.

“You’re not going through this alone.”

“I’ve been through worse.”

"Chris..." she leans forward, trying to catch his gaze. She needs him to understand, to listen to her... just this once.

"You're not gonna disappear on your kid."

“You don’t get to decide that the worst thing that ever happened to us is going to happen again," Claire says and looks around the room, at the state it is, at the liquor and the two of them.
