a little of this, a little of that.

Short and simple. You don't like something, don't want something, over something (whatever the negative word you've got) change it or make it positive. Sally doesn't want to be friends with Susie. Fuck it. I'm over, "she's not my friend so don't be her friend." I'm not 20 (I wanted to say 12 but all that bulllshit lasts way longer, late 20's if you're single) and I don't have time. I'm not down for negative and I don't want to hear it or see it or be a part of it. I don't want to be negative by saying these things either but it's how I feel. I feel sad for the people who choose to let others dictate how they feel or let themselves be drawn down by something that shouldn't matter. If Susie doesn't like me, sorry to say, fuck that bitch. She probably wasn't worth it. People are constantly weeded out of our lives. I've said it before. People come into your lives for a reason. It may be for a few brief moments, years a lifetime whatever. If they stayed it's because they are still teaching you something or are part of an amazing support system. If not it's because they already did their part in your life. It doesn't make me sad because the times were good and I definitely have taken away positive. Change is growth. Without change there would be no progression. I choose to grow.

Trip 2 to the Aquarium Ethan went to the aquarium on his 9months birthday. Yes I like to say birthday. I will celebrate every month until I feel it's unnecessary. Dad does not agree but he loves me anyways. Ethan wasn't too hot on the aquarium the first time. His grandparents took him and they said he was skiddish but enjoyed the scenery. He's always been an observant little man. He studies things. He seems like the quiet type because he's just taking it all in. He was never a giggly baby, very serious. It took awhile for even us, his mom and dad, to get a laugh out of the monkey. This second time around he absolutely adored seeing everything! He was taking everything in and the fact that he is mobile was adorable. The movements, the colors, the people and seeing their reactions. He processes everything. I thought he might fall asleep since it was nap time but he stuck it out and paid attention to all that was going on. He wanted to walk and observe and touch the creatures in the discovery tanks. I wish I knew what he was thinking, what was going on in that very inquisitive mind of his. It's amazing to see his progression. I am impressed every day with how much he changes and what he learns. He is a sponge. He likes to repeat and mimic. I was never ready to take care of another life but now I see you may never be ready. It's been such a learning curve but in the best possible way. When I see my son grow, I can recognize the changes in myself as well. He has made me the woman I am and is constantly shaping my life for the better. I may not be perfect but I sure am happy as hell.
