Nygma and Sharpe

Eddie was never one to ask for help, Alistor just sort of fell into his lap. Meeting at Gotham's downtown orphanage, the smarter of the boys told grand tales of locking his father in a basement leading to his 'completely accidental' death. The other a victim of an actual accident was left a wealthy heir, not wanting to make the same mistakes as his parents, he saved his wealth and live carefully on a tight budget. After meeting again in life, Alistor committeed anything he would need monetary into his old friends endeavors much to the oldest shagrin, but alas who could say no to free millions when it comes to outsmarting the bat?

Nygma and Cobblepot

Before Allistor, there was Oswald. The two had met after Catwoman had recommended Nygma to Oz, 'a genius when it comes to coming up with a good heist' she was quoted at saying, refusing to bring up Edward's personality. Without meeting in person first, Oswald took a gamble and paid the man to come up with a plan worthwhile and fitting of his own status. Edward complied, plotting a heist of such great proportions that Oswald decided it would be a great idea to bring him along incase things go haywire as backup. Edward was not very good backup, it costed Oswald many good men. He's never forgiven him since but still keeps him around for purely planning purposes.

Nygma and Batman

Edward was always up to trouble, ever since he was a child, the only time he would really be calm was with puzzles, trivia, fun facts and quizzes. Anything to keep his brain going he loved, unfortunately that also included uncovering mysteries. The mystery of who took his lunch and school supplies in grade school, the mystery of how relationships work in highschool, and now more then ever as an adult, he's obsessed with the mystery of Amadeus Arkham, a figure in Gotham that barely anyone talks about. If only Batman wasn't in his way, he would be the first in two centuries to share the darker roots that formed the foundation of Gotham City.

Nygma and ???

He knows nothing about the bald headed man, not his name, where he came from, how he finds him and why he keeps delivering insightful information to him. All Edward knows is that he does and he makes him laugh on occasion. If only that bald man could stop disappearing like Batmam when it comes to the end of a conversation. The bald headed man secretly scares him, but he's been a great help. Anytime Edward offers money or plans in exchange for the help, the man refuses, saying that "It's good that I just get to see that smile on your face. I love a good smile." Allistor thinks is creepy, Edward thinks so too. But he'll keep meeting the man in strange places and smile with every new piece of info he gets. How naive.
