G'ruk the lizardman shaman is a 4th level cleric. He can whip the lizardmen into a battle frenzy, and if he is killed the others may flee or may press the attack harder with multiple bonuses to attack and defense. (Jennell Jaquays from D&D adventure The Caverns of Thracia, Judges Guild, 1979)

Thracia is one of Judges Guild's best dungeons. The multiple factions residing within include the lizardmen (descendants of an ancient pre-human reptile race), the beastmen (minotaurs, gnolls, and Anubis-like dog brothers), and human tribesmen, plus a significant number of undead left behind by cultists of the death god Thanatos.
