It was a lazy Sunday, you were rolled up in your bed half asleep half awake when you suddenly got a notification from JayโA guy who would giggle if a pigeon shitted on him, he was your best friend, you both were friends since you were 12 and he was 15 you basically grew up together, well the age gap never really bothered you and you hoped he thought the same. The message the he sent read "I got the job and I'm moving out of my parents house" and as soon as you read that you smiled, not because he got the job but how he yet didn't use all caps or extra alphabets, it was never really his thing, his messages were as dry as the desert ALWAYS, but that never really annoyed you, instead you found it cute. You congratulated him and asked him to buy you food with his first paycheck, he replied with a simple letter "k", but deep down you knew you won't meet Jay maybe? Because he was 22 and you were 19, while you were still in college he got a job, plus you had studying as your one and only priority.
It was monday night when you got up from bed, went for a walk in which the middle of you realised that you forgot to take out the trash, "shit no, kill me please" you said to yourself, as it was your least favorite work of the day, soon after grabbing the trashbag from your house you met your neighborโan 48 year old women talking to a group of ladies which was her GOSSIP GANG, she stopped talking for a while and came up to you, "hey y/n did you know that the flat next to yours yes the one that was vacant for months someone is shifting, and I heard it's it's it's a BOYYY that also your age!" She said that as if you were a part of her gossip gang, well you wouldn't mind being a part of it, if all the members weren't above 40. You glared at your neighbor only for her to smile as if she was already planning your and that Mr.to be neighbor's wedding. You excused yourself telling her you need to study otherwise God she would've kept you there forever. You soon arrived home and scrolled on your phone lying lazily, when you received a message that was sent by Jay.
Yn : other than neighborhoods aunties shipping me with some Mr.to be neighbor, pretty well
Jay : lmao, tmr is the first day of my job and shifting houses is a hassle ughh.
Yn : good luckkk for ur 1st dayy, ๐ค
Yn : okayyyy then I'm gonna go to sleep bybyeee goodnightt
It was Tuesday morning when you woke up to alot of loud noises coming from near your apartment, you checked the time and it was almost the time to get up and get ready for college, so you decided to get up. Soon after you got ready, you went out to head to your college. The first thing you see as soon you step out is a man, who was putting his luggage inside the apartment right next to yours, now that was your biggest fear a man shifting next to you what if he's freaky, weird or perverted. you glared at him for some time and decided that it was time you ask him WHO TF IS HE, AND WHYY IS HE MOVING NEXT DOORR. So you gathered up the courage and said "Hello I'm yn and I live right next door are you shifting in this house?" The man looked at you for some seconds confused and answered "ohh yess, and im park jongseong". After some minutes of awkward silence you smiled said "if you need anything I'm right next door" you smiled thinking "even if you need something please keep it to yourself" Jongseong looked at you and nodded. You excused yourself saying that it was time you leave for your college and walked away, as you walked you said to yourself "now that was one awkward conversation".
