also in rewatching the og and españa call your girlfriend scenes, i realized how much that scene can really tell you about whatever version of the characters from how it’s played. like in the og, isak is fully staring at even the whole time as theyre both making out with their respective girlfriends and it takes even FOREVER to actually look up, but when he meets isak’s eyes it’s so clear he knew the whole time isak was watching and was putting on a show for him. versus in the españa scene, cris is staring at joana and kissing rubén before joana has even started kissing eloy or is even looking. and when joana DOES look, she grabs eloy and fully turns him around so she can make out with him and stare at cris. like WOW.
