Hello Dear

My name is Tahseen Alkhazendar from Gaza City - Tal-Alhawa Area . As you are reading my message, my wife, 3 little children, and I are sitting in the north of Gaza City, starving with no food, water, or money. Every morning, my wife and I feel heart broken and disabled, when our children wake up asking us for food which we don't have and unable to provide to them at this time in Gaza.

Before October 7th, I was a successful business man who owned a driving school and graduated from the business management school. I worked hard to secure a decent and happy life to my family, and did my best to raise my children with dignity, pride, and respect. However, once the aggression started on Gaza, we were forced to evacuate our house and left everything behind. I struggle every single day to secure 1 single meal for my children. Specially my older son, Ibrahim, who suffers from the Celiac disease and needs a special food which I am unable to find in Gaza at this current time.

Unfortunately everything I owned is completely lost after my house and business got bombed and destroyed. We are currently suffering slow death in Gaza, sharing a small apartment with other families and living a devastating life.

Adult literacy is low.

Child literacy is low.

Information literacy has shifted dramatically in the last decade, but reputable information sources like research journals and factual news reporting have been unable to keep pace.

We are genuinely in a crisis of media literacy, with ever fewer genuinely factual resources available in the style and language used by contemporary audiences.

It may sound condescending, but we genuinely need to remind people, or worse, explain to them for the first time that art is not evidence of real world behaviour.

But! The vampires technically don't have a choice in this - human blood is the only thing they can eat. There's not enough humans that would willingly give up blood, so they have to "farm" them just so that they can survive. Some of them even try their best to care for the humans - like your mom, and some humans like their vampire caretakers. They've never even lived without a vampire to care for them, so they might not even know how to! Sure, there's also the bad apples, those who only see humans as food and nothing more, but isn't there always?

Nonetheless - both good and bad are draining humans of their lifeforce and taking away their freedom, that is a fact. The kid decides that because of the circumstances making them the only one capable of it, they need to save the other humans and get far away from the vampires. ...Also they have a magical vampire killing m20 bazooka 👍 So up against individual vampires they are way overpowered, really. They kill vampires like slicing through butter.

The issue here is too complex to say that anyone is wrong. Both sides are doing what they're doing not out of pleasure, but to be able to survive and feel safe. There is no possible middle ground. Vampires live, at the cost of humanity being enslaved and milked for blood. Or humans get to live (safely), but the vampires starve.

And we could apply it to the world in an even larger metaphor or take it at face value, doesn't really matter. Humans and vampires might look alike, might be just as smart and good with words and have similar needs, but ultimately one of them living is dependent on the other suffering. So can you possibly say that one deserves to live more than the other? That one has more of a right to hurt the other to protect their own species?
