That's exactly what happened with Joni Werthan.

Joni is the owner and president of Warioto Farm in Franklin, Tennessee, and for more than three decades has dedicated her life to breeding exceptional horses for the American Hunter industry. Her philosophy has always been simple: to breed horses with correct conformation, kind dispositions, and outstanding athletic ability. Those same qualities, kindness, integrity, and grace, shine through in the way she lives her own life.

Over the years, Joni has served on numerous boards and supported organizations like Alive Hospice, Colby's Army, Nashville CARES, Family & Children's Services, and many other nonprofits. Whether she's advocating for horses or helping people in need, serving others isn't something she talks about, it's simply who she is.

Joni and Warioto Farm were even honored by the Tennessee House of Representatives for their extraordinary contributions to the Hunter/Jumper industry. It's an incredible accomplishment, but it's still not the first thing I think about when I think of her.

I think about her heart.

She inspires me to be better. Joni reminds me that if we say we care, we should live like we care. She quietly walks the walk every single day.

One of my favorite moments during her portrait session was watching her step outside of everyone's expectations. We pulled out a legendary leather-studded jacket once worn by a famous punk rock band from Goldy's Closet, and she absolutely owned it. She embraced the attitude, made it her own, and reminded me that confidence isn't about what you wear, it's about how you wear it.

One of the unexpected gifts of photography is discovering that sometimes clients become friends... and every once in a while, they become friends for life. That's Joni. She celebrates everyone else's victories, cheers you on when you need it most, and has become one of those lifelong friends I'm incredibly grateful for.

People like Joni make the world softer, kinder, and more hopeful simply because they're in it.

That's what I hope every person discovers during a portrait experience with me. It's never just about taking pictures. It's about celebrating who you are, telling your story, and creating images that feel authentically you.

A mother of five, an artist, and one of the brave faces behind the Only Talent movement.

When we approached Amy Jo about being part of Buy The Record, Not The Bod, she immediately understood the message. In a world that often tells young people their value comes from likes, clicks, and appearance, Amy Jo believes something different. She believes talent matters. Creativity matters. Hard work matters.

As a mom raising five children, she wants them to know they never have to compromise who they are to chase a dream. She wants them to see that their gifts, their passions, and their talents are enough.

That's why she took a chance on this campaign.

The beautiful irony of Only Talent isn't lost on her. The entire movement shines a light on the fact that musicians, artists, writers, photographers, and creators deserve a livable wage for the work they pour their hearts into. If we want art to survive, we have to support the artists creating it.

Many of Tammy and Geoff's customers are artists, actors, musicians, entertainers, and people who simply love vintage clothing. We shared our vision for a movement that started right here in Nashville: helping people understand that streaming alone is not paying artists a livable wage.

If you love a band, an artist, or a musician... BUY THE RECORD.

In other words, support them financially when you can so these talented human beings can keep creating the music, art, and entertainment that become the soundtrack to our lives.

We tip bartenders. We tip servers. We spend hundreds of dollars on drinks.

After our new single got 500,000, a million streams I was so excited! And then I looked at the payouts and it was nothing.

I went to a colleague of mine whose a billionaire in the entertainment business to ask for contacts and advice. And study told me to open and Only Fans. I felt sick to my stomach. Out of all the talent that I have that's what I was reduced to... It made me sad.

I went to bed and I had a dream. I swear God said run around Nashville doing naked wrestling promos but have it be about artists equality, making an actual viable livable wage.

We also perform for a lot of young beautiful women. I'm hearing more and more that the way they're going to make their income is by opening and Only Fans. You have little girls as young as 12 thinking that that's going to be their future. What are we doing wrong?

I'm going to go naked. My bandmate has joined me in this viral movement for his own reasons... But it's turning heads and it's opening the flood gates for conversations that need to be had. So before you judge me ask yourself? Do you have a freaking retirement plan? Do you have proper health insurance and dental? If you get sick are you screwed or are you going to be forced to have a benefit at the local pub to try and pay for 1% of your doctor bills?

Don't judge. Read the articles... And learn.

Because artists matter. Music matters. Y'all better start paying attention before we become extinct. It would be a very boring world without us. 🎤
