Almost on queue their little one started crying. Erissa’s ears perked as she stood. “Wash up, love. I’m going to be feeding her in the living room when you are done.” the elf smiled and walked away, finally allowing happiness to wash over her.
She nodded, listening to the little cries of her baby girl as she washed her sore skin clean, scrubbing the dirt from the road from her skin and her hair before emerging from the tub in just a towel.
While Fera bathed Erissa went to their little one. “Oh hush now. Mommy is here.” Erissa said playfully as the child reached up for her mother, cries disappearing slightly. “I know you’re hungry.”
Erissa took Nitare to the kitchen and grabbed food appropriate for a two year old before proceeding to the living to sit Nitare in her highchair.
The child protested at first but quickly settled as Erissa bribed her with food. Erissa broke the food into smaller pieces and set them in front of Nitare while she happily ate.
