ā [For Serena]
"O-Oh no! Sir! Sir! Iām not a package!" She tapped him as her tail flailed in protest
Was he scared of her teeth? Seeing him step back Serena couldnāt help but laugh a bit. āW-Well obviously right? Itās part of our meals.ā She smiled a bit warly. Did he not believe her? Then again most people had not.Ā
"Y-Yes! there are a lot more like me! Different types of sharks but just like me." Was it that hard to believe really?! Seeing him chug down a cup of coffee a wary smile on her face formed. So, he wasnāt a warlockā¦in the end she gave a sheepish sigh at him. "S-So youāre a demon then?" Obviously if he wasnāt a witch of some sort he had to be a demon! Ā
āYou make the bad guys get what they deserveā¦huh..ā she said before being asked about where she was from.Ā
"me? Iām from some random town. Iāve been on the seas for almost my entire life so my ship is my home." She shrugged, "I guess itās excitingā¦meeting other sharks and then face to face with an Orca who half kills youā¦" trailing off a bitĀ
"There are more... shark people?" He said aloud. How odd. Her calling him a demon snapped him out of thought once more, and drew forth laughter. A lot of it. "A demon? I guess you could say that... I did come back from the dead, once." He smiled deviously.
"So, you're a pirate?" He teased. "I don't know how well I would do on the sea..." The thought of being on a boat day in and day out didn't sound like a dream life.
He was quiet for a moment. "I'm just a human. A very, very, damaged human." He smiled weakly at her. "I don't have much to live for, anymore. Maybe a life on the sea would be interesting."
