Link half smiled, laughing as the witch sat down. He wasn’t expecting to see her again. “You did anyway.” He commented. He moved the book down onto the floor, kicking it into his bag. “Not my kind of thing. Dancing. I was busy poking a few vampires to see if they got hangry.”
Being the nosy woman she was Adira tried to subtly get a glance at the book he had been studying. She had to resist huffing when she was unable to before it was tucked away. “Well it was indeed extravagant-- but between me and you-- I would’ve much rather been flirting with death around a bunch of vampires too,” Adira confessed, recalling the tense, brief conversation she had with Claudia-- it had put her in a sour mood the rest of that night. “I don’t see any bite markings, I assume your experiment went well?”
