Sometimes it isn’t easy to leave our old selves behind, it feels disloyal, like somehow I made a mistake being who I was because it isn’t who I am now. The idea of a static self seems like it would provide some kind of comfort, stability mb. With any luck I will continue to evolve every day and thank the person I was for all they had to do.

I always feel more inspired by art and making art when I am away from home and not caught up so much in all the mundane tasks that make a life comfortable. How to find that balance and allow for mess making and experimenting when feeling so tired?
