The cooking class, is going...well. They are not good cooks, if he’s being honest, yet this is a class of learning and he is here to teach despite his scarred up appearance.

—✕ █ ▌❝Rather impressive.❞ The tree in the fantastic ward is already rather sizeable, as big a tree could be in a busy city, he thinks. So, one even BIGGER? He whistles.

❝I’m not a potion maker or a doctor - I don’t know how to stop the pain, but maybe I could find something to LESSEN the flow of blood. Or ease the pain. Stuff like that can work on me - on my good days.❞

 “It could work.” could , might, could do. Zald would take whatever condolence he could , after all its not like theres anything else he can do. he’s just a misfit who is dying, delaying it won’t do any good. And he wants to do it with glory. 

 A sigh. 

“Ah, don’t…Don’t worry about it!” Riku smiled the best she could in this situation and at the man. She couldn’t help the way she was born, and may be scared of what that other side is capable of, but she’s just gotta live the best way she can.

“I’m made of strong stuff, so you don’t have to worry about me!” She did tilt her head at the man’s words though. His body can eat anything? What definition of anything are we talking about? Maybe he just has a big appetite!

“Yeah, I understand. Having a big appetite can be really wild sometimes! I can eat ten times my weight and still be hungry!” It was times like this that her naivety shows at the worst time.

 “No no, I mean if somehow you manage to bite steel. You might be tasting it in my stomach.”

A blunt response as he examines his new body for the moment, Slim and short, unlike his real self. He wonders briefly what exactly was so attractive about this sort of body, that made gods go mad. His own god, Zeus craved this kind of body didn’t he?

Never mind. 

“Yeah, that is true. People would kill to have this kind of medicine back home to deal with respiratory diseases.” Especially if you were from a time period from before the 1950′s..that was the right time it started, right? History wasn’t her strong suit.

Even though it was unintentional, Riku slightly flinched when he patted the collar. The leather was worn as if its been used for years but the bell still rang as strongly as the first day it was acquired.

“Its something like that. It seals away the demonic power that flows in my veins…a power I can’t control no matter how many years have passed.” The feral madness that overtakes her when the collar is removed, just the thought of it makes her clench her fists tightly.

 “My condolence.” 

He says evenly because he knows what the price of power is, and that when it overtakes you it can become you’re worst enemy for all and everyone dear to you.

On a good day, he says. Riku found herself grumbling slightly, which probably looked funny to those outside of the conversation. She coughed again slightly, more as a means of clearing her throat rather than feeling like something was about to come out again.

“Understood. Just, for both of our sakes…mister? Don’t take off the collar. Unless you want to be in for a really bad time.” She wasn’t saying this to be threatening. It was a real matter of fact tone from personal experience.

She frowned when being given the case, but followed the directions nonetheless, since this guy knew his body better than Riku did.

 “One should be grateful, that such medicine exists within this city.”

He says, being someone who was on the daily, it was almost gods sent. But then his newly swapped hands patted the collar. Feeling something... 

“That’s -*COUGH* good to know.” The deep scratchy voice that accompanied Riku’s words were jarring on one end to say the least. Body-swapping is the number 1 trope around, yet she never actually wanted to participate in one.

It really didn’t help with the fact that she was now an extremely tall, muscled older man. Not that she had anything against him, of course.

“Does this kind of this happen everyday?”

 “On a good day.”

the jarring effect of being some sort of mage, yet somehow his lungs were clean, made him rather elated. though knowing how well this thing will go, it means this is only a temporary thing.

 “I would suggest not...using any of your strength.”

Its awkward running on a short body, but Zald manages to do so, going into the pockets of their real body and pulling out a small case of pills.

 “Take one, now.”

Goodness, even this body felt different. Everything felt different when in a different body. But the main problem with this one is that Zald still felt worried for the other person specifically. His body was not in best shape internally. 

 “You might start coughing up blood.”

Warning, switching with Zald means constantly coughing out blood and feeling light headed at most random of times. i mean he’s all muscles and has great core muscles. but its extreme on both ends.
