you have the correct opinions on transmasc noelle . I saw someone say βidk I think if it was canon itβd have more explicit evidence in chapter 2 and 4, itβs too late for them to add thatβ and I had to sit there and go no way in fucking hell did you play the same game I did . We only got ββexplicitββ transfem ralsei stuff in CHAPTER 5, AND Toby is KNOWN for writing things SUBTLY, AND there IS evidence in 2 + 4!

this is especially funny to hear as someone who believed in transmasc Noelle since chapter 2 because there was evidence (also, Noelle really didnt get that much screentime in chapter 4 anyway, and most of it was in front of Kris and Susie who she was still semi-masking towards, so theres only so much you can do with that you know?)
but also, i was already gonna make a post about this, but one of the reasons why transmasc Noelle is so good (and so contentious) is because it doesnt rely on traditional gender roles
theres no big gendered smoking gun you can point to like with Ralsei, no princess dress or "Got it, princess?". but theres the desire to wear different clothes, to present differently, break out of their assigned role, to not be Noelle. its trans coding that relies more on "i want to be someone else" than straight-up "i want to be masculine". thats probably why i noticed it so instantly and why im so attached to the theory, because im a gnc trans person myself

Rudy - Gives each holiday member an important role beyond serving as Just Noelle development
Carol - Imo would be the most satisfying unmasking as she's the only character you are required here to actually meet
Asriel - Would make Toby fox's comment about Mother 3 and him being unoriginal make a LOT of sense
Weird route Kriselle - explains why the knight and Kris share the same poses as well as it having Noelle's scream and the antlers

My take on Transmasc Noelle- or Tobi rather
I saw some people say he might choose a more halloweeny name like Jason and thought itβd be cute if he chose his name to still match with his sister, but still deviate from the perfect Holiday daughter

Papyrus really wants to be liked, it's a whole thing. He does what Undyne says, even if it scares him. He goes on a date with Frisk even though he knew from the begining he didn't have romantic feelings for them. You could even say he thinks other people like him when they don't, though that could be one of his many lies.
Berdly also wants to be liked, he thinks people havd very high expectations for him (even though we dont see anyone actually express them). He wants people to like him so much that he pretends to have a crush on his friend because he believes she only hangs out with him because she has romantic feelings for him. He really wants people to like him, even if it means doing something he doesnt want.
Papyrus is forgettable, we get told this a bunch.
Berdly basically get erased, gets forgotten, in the snowgrave route.
Papyrus has a blue attack.
Berdly is a blue bird.
Papyrus wants to be on the royal guard, work for the king.
Berdly wants to work with Queen. chap 2
Papyrus offers forgiveness to Frisk, who is being controlled by the player, in the murder run.
Berdly offers help to Noelle, who is being controlled by the player, even if she is the one who ends up killing him. snowgrave
