Jax is such good representation

Even though I don’t like her for being basically abusive I do love her as a character after Ep 9 now that we understand why she is the way she is (not that it’ll ever excuse the things she’s done to the others. I saw another post that explained this better, I am not good with words.)

Anyways I really liked flashback Jax pre-Ribbit talk

So like we can all agree Jax is trans right????? I’m not crazy??? I had a feeling that he (she? They? I’m unsure what I should refer to them as now since in the show they never explicitly change their pronouns) was trans earlier, but after watching Ep. 9 it’s really clear.

But my brother for some reason is making me seem like I’m crazy for saying so? Refused to believe me, laughed at me, quite literally said “get a load of this guy” at me- I’ve SEEN other people say that Jax is trans so surely it’s really obvious right????

My brother’s thirteen so he’s definitely old enough to know about trans people (especially considering the fact I’m trans and have been out for years) I know he doesn’t fully accept me as trans either, but now a character he likes is trans and he refuses to accept or believe that as well.

Is there any possible way I can explain it to him in even simpler terms to get it through his head? (I’ve already tried explaining it, and he’s seen the movie and rest of the show with me so.)

This probably shouldn’t be as big of a deal to me as it is (especially since I don’t even like Jax. Him abstracting was a win for me and I was actually glad they didn’t make Gangle really mourn for them after they essentially abused her.) but I guess it means a lot to me. Maybe if I can explain how Jax feels maybe he’ll understand what I feel.

I was genuinely hoping watching the movie together would be something good to do as siblings too.

I’ve been looking forward to this for so long, hell, as stupid as it is TADC helped keep me alive and all the hurtful things he said right after was just. He also told me how bad the movie was after too while smiling, which I think was just him trying to make me mad (well it worked.)

Anyways here’s something that uhhh I don’t really know what to make of. So me and my brother were two of FOUR people who were in the theatre that showing for some reason, and after the movie one of the other people said they’d publicly jack off if Jax came back 😭 and they kept calling them Babygirl which I admit it was really funny (at least to me)

Anyways the other person who was with them complimented me two different times and that made me really happy
