It's been a great reading year ☺️ after years of being depressed to the point of being completely unable to find joy in anything, being able to get such joy and satisfaction from reading once again means everything to me. I started reading again in 2023 with mdzs, which I picked up because I tried watching the untamed and nothing made sense, so I thought I'd read the book first. I loved mdzs so much. It kick-started my love for reading again. And since then, I've been introduced to a whole other kind of literature I wasn't familiar with, which has made me interested in Chinese culture, language, philosophy, politics, and way of life so I can get a deeper understanding of what I'm reading and appreciate it better. And I've learned things that I hadn't thought of before, particularly daoist teachings that really resonate with me and how I think of life. So, overall a great year where books have entertained and taught me ❤️
