one thing i wish more people but especially leftists would realize is that the people you hate so vehemently are closer to you than you think. i'm best friends with a hazbin/helluva fan. my cousins are trumpies. someone at my php program said the r slur not knowing what it meant because she has maga parents. you can't "cancel" people / stop connecting with them after they do one thing you disagree with. you don't know everything about why they are the way that they are, or the effects your absence as a positive influence will make.
