my eon duo are siblings! their names are Haven and Atlas. i have autism, adhd, and hpd, and having them with me brings me great comfort

my name is Tori. my 5 favorite pokemon are latias and latios, gardevoir, primarina, and yamask. my special interest is actually roblox, but pokemon has been bringing me enough joy for long enough that i feel confident making this blog.

i’m employed at a science recreational center as a teacher for pre-k children, which is where most of my time is spent and most of my pictures with Haven and Atlas are taken. i have permission from the principal to bring them to work, and both coworkers and students find them delightful. i also hope to bring the two on various other adventures if an outing is appropriate for them!

seeing the FNaF graphic novels in person as someone who doesn’t care for Scott at all anymore made me giggle a little

these were my checkouts! my goal was 5 total with 2 being first volumes of serieses, but i only got 1 first volume and 1 complete collection. when it comes to the library, i like going into things as blind as possible, since there’s not really any risk to checking stuff out!

today’s theme seems to be gender. Girlmode is explicitly about a trans woman, and The Prince And The Dressmaker might be a transfem story? But it also might just be queer. Princess Prince sounded interesting but i’m also being wary since it could easily turn sexist or transphobic.

Strawberry Panic is a yuri, which I’m always willing to give a shot to, and Yotsuba&! i’ve heard lumped in with Azumanga Daioh and Nichijou, which i enjoyed the latter of (haven’t tried Azumanga.)

I think Atlas will like reading these with me! His togekiss friend Ocellus is transfem, so I think he wants to know more about it to support her.

at the bookstore, my goal was just to get Goodnight Punpun Vol2, but I also got a new journal since I’d be needing a new one in a month or so anyway :] they will not be allowed to see it though, Punpun is a VERY heavy and uncomfortable read. i’m liking seeing where it goes though

after the store we got lunch, ate at the school, and went home ٩( ᐛ )و i conked out as soon as i got to my room

now that it’s nighttime, our quiet time, it’s time to read!

i’m only a bit in but i’m already a little unsure. all the girls refer to each other in sisterly ways, which i’m taking more as school sorority type rather than as actual perceived sisterhood, But i still just don’t like it when characters call each other siblings when there’s romance later on. i’m holding onto my bearings and i’m gonna read it through, since it’s just a library checkout after all!!

we had a very fun day, my students enjoyed seeing them. they all think it’s silly that i bring dolls around the school with me :]

we went to the cafe next door and there was an old couple next to us in line. the lady took a look at them and asked me, “are those your kids?”

of course i said yes
