This is giving me Hallmark Channel Christmas movie starring Liam Neeson as a single father to Zoey and Max, played by Natalie Portman and Jake Lloyd, with Ewan McGregor as Zoey's new figure skating coach, Cody. Dad has to meet the new coach to talk about Zoey's training schedule and the kids notice dad blushing! And being flustered! They decide to make this romance happen because it's almost Christmas and dad is lonely and it’s the season to set up your single parents. There is a shopping montage of the kids trying to get their dad to buy Cool Clothes. Also, some rich miser is trying to shut down the community ice skating rink which is Bad News because that's where Cody teaches local orphans to ice skate. Oh no! Kids and dad hatch a plan to raise money with a Christmas Ice Skating Show. It works! Cody is impressed and falls in love with the dad. Now they can be a happy family at Christmas. The rich miser learns a Christmas lesson.
