why is it so difficult for ppl to distinguish between "this person is a literal bigot and should not have a platform" and "this person is not actively malicious but has accidentally done a couple harmful things that should be addressed" and "this person has made a few poor taste jokes several years ago but has since grown as a person" and "this person simply just didn't know the 'proper' term for something"

i just ordered a second hand xbox so i can finally play red dead redemption 1, i can't wait

not me immediately downloading fable 2 & 3 and all 3 dragon age games, like i haven’t played them to death already (especially dragon age inquisition sjdjsjskdjds)

update: still haven’t even bought rdr1 bc i’ve been in a mass effect hole for 2 weeks, played through 1 & 2 and now i’m nearly done with 3. my entire soul is consumed by one goal: protect tali and jack at all costs!!!!

i do wish people would relearn the ability to think things are dumb without making up reasons why they’re also evil actually. personal taste doesn’t always have to be a moral stance, the personal isn’t that political. i told my friend i didn’t care for selena gomez the other day and he asked me what she’d done. i don’t fucking know bro i just think her music is boring. im tired
