Hi, my name is Saeed, I am 19 years old, I live in an unjust reality, the war on Gaza.

This war destroyed my ambitions to study engineering and robbed me of everything beautiful in my life that I lived with my family that embraced me, my father, mother, brothers, sisters and nephews. We had a beautiful house with its simplicity, where we lived a simple and beautiful life, but in this war our house was completely destroyed, our memories that we preserved and our unknown future, our present is more difficult than you can imagine. We have become living for the purpose of living only and escaping death, we die every moment to provide the necessities and requirements of life, we have felt the taste of death repeatedly, when you hear the sounds of bombs and explosions and see the remains and children and the panic that we live.

So we decided to travel from this place and move to a safe place, where we find the future and the present to build memories. But the cost of travel is very high and we cannot afford it. We need an amount of 5 thousand dollars for each person and my family consists of 9 people, as well as the cost after the travel until we find a safe haven. For the sake of humanity, for the sake of love, for the sake of humanity. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading the words I wrote about my suffering. Help me by donating and sharing.

This is going to be something that I am sure is going to be controversial to some but maybe don’t camp out or take pictures at the funeral site. And if you’re an UA, don’t share the pictures. This isn’t a circus, this isn’t an exhibit, this is a real life thing that his family and friends are trying navigate in real time without the added pressure of being constantly ‘on’ or feel like they’re being watched. Plus I just think it’s creepy. 

I won’t be sharing any photos from the funeral at mr-styles, nor will you see them on my blog. I think this is an extremely personal and sensitive matter: I don’t care how famous they are, I just don’t feel right sharing those moments on the internet, regardless of if they exist or not.

Everyone has a superhero. For any girl in the world, her superhero is her father.

He is our hero. He is a doctor. Before this ongoing genocide, he worked at Al-Shifa Hospital. He is a wonderful plastic surgeon, loves his work and is committed to it, to help people and relieve their pain.

When We were forced to be displaced to Al-Shifa Hospital at the beginning of the war, he was still committed to his work. He worked nonstop for 40 days, besides caring for his family, especially in these difficult times!

But unfortunately the occupation stormed and burned the hospital after We were forced to evacuate , raising white flags. We could not carry anything, just our souls. We fled to the south on foot. He carried his two children in his arms, and walked long distances for many kilometers during the afternoon among tanks and heavily armed soldiers, and even among decomposing corpses!

Finally, we reached the UNRWA school at Khan Yunis. He started working in Nasser Hospital, which the occupation also stormed and destroyed! Even when we were displaced, he was working.

All that happened did not stop him from performing his lofty job as a doctor. He has now returned to work in MOH hospitals to carry out operations of debridement and grafting of needy injured people, but he is alone, we are far from him.

He decided to protect us and made a decision to refuge in Egypt to be survived. While he stayed in Rafah before the beginning of the military operation there. Then he was forced to be displaced to Deir Al-Balah.

Every morning he goes to work at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis and returns to his tent in Deir Al- Balah in the evening all week.

Is this what we and he deserve?

We stay away from our hero and torn our family. While at the same time, he is putting himself in danger while saving innocent lives!

For your information, his profession is considered more dangerous than ever before, due to the occupation’s systematic policy of targeting hospitals and medical staff!

All the day, we are worried about him. May Allah save him. Moreover, there is no safe place.

We hope to reunite again, we want each other, we want our home and our dreams!

In war zones and conflict areas, these doctors not only heal the wounded but often place their own lives on the line to do so. Their dedication goes beyond the boundaries of duty; it’s a profound sacrifice that makes them both caregivers and unsung heroes amid chaos.

hey friends! this is a vetted and verified fundraiser shared with me by a good friend of mine, Egyptian artist and animator Noran Fikri, who is one of Lana's close friends in Egypt:

I am sending you this message as a desperate attempt to raise some money for my best friend Lana who is in Gaza right now. I can’t bear to watch her suffer and do nothing. I talk to her everyday and the situation has worsened a lot this month. Every time I call her I can hear the bombs very close to her and she showed me how her hands are constantly shaking from the trauma. Her 1-year-old son Mohammed is suffering from malnourishment and very severe diaper rashes. There has been an aid blockade for 20+ days in the south of Gaza and everything is extremely expensive. Just one diaper pack is 100$ and it runs out very quickly. She sometimes has to just soak some bread in water just to feed her son and herself. Whenever I talk to her she always talks about death being so close and how she is wishing for it to escape the fear and suffering she has to live through everyday. Motherhood is hard enough, I can’t begin to imagine a young mother (23 yo) living through the first year of parenthood like that. Despite this all this, Lana tries to smile and joke around with me to hide her pain. She tries to get back to her studies to get her degree in Psychology. She used to be the youngest playwright in the biggest theatre in all of Gaza and now she is trying to write a book about her experience in the war despite the depression and terror. It's been up since June and very stagnant, so I'm hoping to raise a lot this week as a surprise for both Noran and Lana.

Not to get ahead of myself but I don't think many people will choose the last option, yet that's what Mohammed (@ayeshjourney) does everyday for his fellow Palestinians. Not only through his work in the health sector, which is in and of itself extremely dangerous as it involves going into perilous area to help injured people. But also because he is tirelessly working to vet fundraisers on the ground, which also means getting through some of the most targeted areas of Gaza. All to make sure other Palestinians can get their fundraisers shared and brought to attention.

His work is inestimable, that is why we should support him as much as possible. He is now asking for our help : his brother needs to repair his hearing device and get the appropriate medical support due to his hard of hearing condition. On top of that, him and his family are currently displaced, in an area where IOF troops and tanks are stationed, trying to hide from frequent shootings. And now he is getting accused of being a scam by zionists, which is greatly impeding his fundrasing efforts!
