“does he think she scares you enough to keep you from trying to leave the house? some grandmothers are strict as hell.” not that addy really knew, she didn’t have any living, but she’d seen things on tv and in movies that led her to her assumption. sighing she just scoffed and shrugged her shoulders “that it didn’t mean anything. that i deserve better. that he’ll make it up to me…” the same things he said every time this happened. addison was so comfortable being pinned under his thumb that she forced herself to believe him. 

“ yeah! ” she replied with a roll of her eyes and a laugh. “but im her angel, i can do no wrong in her eyes - she loves me more than millie, which makes one fucking person.. ” she replied with a sigh and a shrug of her shoulders. “ she told my dad that i only left the house to help her with chores - she’s the best.” hearing how it went down with zeke, her heartbeat raised. she loved zeke,he was one of her close friends but she hated how he treated addison. “the same things he says every time?” she asked with a raise of her eyebrow. “ hes a fucking asshole and the better and you  can move on and find someone who will fucking worship you - they way you deserve. ”

“  hey  babe  .  “  he  greeted  while  flashing  her  a  playful  smile  .  he  always  looked  forward  to  his  nights  with  gloria  .  his  racing  gave  him a  rush  that  ran  through  his  entire  body  and  he  was  happy  to  spread  the  feeling  to  another  .  “  think  you  are  finally  ready  to  get  behind  the  wheel  yourself  ?  “  he  asked  ,  pressing  his  foot  on  the  pedal  .  his  car  taking  off  towards  his  favorite  abandoned  spot  to  race  around  .  “  or  are  you  still  being  a  fucking  baby  about  it  ?  “  

“ watch your pretty little mouth, santiago. ” she replied, her lips pulling into a smirk as she flipped down the mirror on her side so that she could check her make up. “ when have i ever been a baby when i’m riding with you? ” she asked, her eye flickering over to him. “ i’m just afraid that you will feel inferior once you see how well i do... ” she joked.

kelsey felt like it had been forever since she had seen her girl. as soon as she had seen gloria she ran right up to her and hugged her tightly. “bitch- i have missed you so much.” she said sweetly as she hugged the girl tightly. “where have you even been hiding?’ she said letting her go.

seeing the very familiar flash of red hair heading towards her , gloria’s lips spread into a wide smile. she opened her arms and welcomed her best friend in, returning the tight squeeze. “i’ve missed you too my girl.” she replied, her face smushing against kelsey’s. “my dad sent me to spend a few weeks with my abuela...” she replied, as they parted. “you need to tell me whats been going on here, you’re the only person i can count on for gossip..”

gloria: i need to wash away my sins.

he   wasn’t   truly   scared   of   dying   ,  though   he   was   scared   of   leaving   the   people  that   he   loved   behind   . he   watches   as   her    hand   lingers   over   his   wound   and   he   couldn’t   help   but   let   a   small   smile   ❛    I    thought   you   knew   this  already   ,   through   ?   ❜   he   says   as   he   cocks   and   pulls   his   shirt   down   letting   the   sun   bask   in   his   skin   ❛ so   how   was   spain  ,   did   you   bring   me   anything   ?  ❜

hearing his words, she left another laugh escape her lips and she gave a shake of her head. “how could i forget?” she replied, he wasn’t crazy - he just didn’t seem to be scared of anything, which is what she liked about him. when she heard his question, she narrowed her eyes and cocked her head. “i wasn’t a tourist over there you know, i didn’t visit any souvenir stores.”

“a heart throb,” he repeated with a nod. “i absolutely have what it takes. all it takes is…well exactly what you’re naming,” a chuckle escaped his lips along with a shrug of his shoulders. “literally just have to be good looking, and I am.” it probably sounded cocky, but he wasn’t he was just confident, people told him he was good looking all the time. 

“oh no, that’s not all.” she replied, through narrow eyes and a slight smirk. “you have to be charming .. you can’t be a heart throb if you like, have no game.” she added, eyeing him once more. he was right, he was good looking - anyone with a set of eyes could tell you that. “if you have a pretty face but have the personality of a rock, then i’m sorry - but it just makes you handsome.” the girl said, chewing down on her bottom lip. “so tell me, how charming are you?”

“has he ever met a teenager before in his life?” addy raised a brow as she chuckled, knowing that not many teens would be apt to help out around the house and learn while abroad. “yeah, hands on learning or whatever. learning through experience. makes sense,” she agreed. “what didn’t happen might be easier to answer,” she shook her head. “apollo kissed me. i told zeke about it. he kissed joss during truth or dare. and then slept with her apparently because i guess he wanted revenge. he didnt even bother breaking up with me this time, just went and did it.”

“well, he thought that i would be house bound for the entire time - he still thinks that i was and my abuela is going along with it too - which is fine by me.” she grinned, as she applied her favourite shade of glossier lip gloss - although, she was interrupted when addy started to explain what happened, she put her lip gloss away and gave her best friend her full attention. her eyes widened with each thing that she told her, her mouth opening too. “what the fuck!” she replied, her blood almost boiling. “i’ll fucking end him, the dirty snake - what did he say when you confronted him?” she replied, pressing her tongue to her cheek.

nicolas  had  texted  gloria  to  be  ready  in  fifteen  minutes  .  he  was  in  his  newest  addition  to  his  collection  and  just  got  it  back  from  having  modifications  done  .  once  he  pulled  up  outside  her  house  ,  pressed  the  horn  to  get  her  attention  so  she  knew  he  was  here  .

whenever she and nicolas were together, she always felt alive - her mind was always taken away from whatever troubles where big in her life that day - and the fact that he was easy on the eyes didn’t hurt either. when she heard the horn sounding outside, her lips spread into a grin. the girl jumped down from the stool in the kitchen and headed for the front door, ignoring her mothers questions. she made her way over to the car and got into the passenger side. “hey you.” she greeted him with a smirk.

 it had been a while since he had stepped foot in paradise hills, he had gotten more fit and his dad had let him do whatever he wanted , he ran new york and now that he was back at school it all seemed so dull. he walks over to the group of people and smiles ❛ so, who missed me ?  ❜

it had been so long since gloria had seen, apollo - they’d not stayed in contact since he left for new york and the fact that they might have slept with each other had almost left her mind. when she heard his voice, she looked up from her cellphone and gave a smile - which was half forced. “oh hey, you.” she replied, before her eyes found her phone again. “things go down shit creek while in the big apple?” she asked, scrolling through her instagram feed.

Kels: do you ever think about how many people you’ve slept with and didn’t realize? You know like you sleep with someone who has slept with five other people And those five people have had other partners.

Kels: maybe somewhere along the line we have hooked up through hooking up with others lol

Gloria: if that was how it works, the i've slept with half the town.

“well turns out that the other’s weren’t hiding but are being tied up,” he said before he shoved his hands in his pocket. “but other than that, no, things are going pretty well for me,” he said before he looked over at the girl. “why? what do you think’s going on?”

“  yeah ,  i  saw  that  -  fuck ,  now  i’m  starting  to  feel  bad  about  being  glad  millie  was  gone . ” she  replied ,  but  the  smirk  on  her  face  said  different -  even  though  she  actually  meant  it .  “  pretty  well ?  ”  she  asked  ,  with  a smile .  “ what  like ?  ”  she  asked ,  her  eyes  searching  his .  jason’s  question ,  made  her  shrug  her  shoulders .  “  i  dunno ,  the  atmosphere  has  completely  changed  since  i  left  ---  i  feel  out  of  the  loop . ”

“yeah must be horrible having to travel literally anywhere but this godforsaken town…” lux added with a roll of her eyes. “getting out of here to go anywhere is like a reward,” she chuckled. “please tell me that dear old gran plays along and allows him to think that shes doing him a favor? also where my souvenir?”

“  he  thought  that  it  would  make  me  get  in  touch  with  my  spanish  heritage ,  when  really  my  abuela  thinks  that  the  only  way  to  get  in touch  with  my  heritage  is  to  be  out  experiencing  spain  -  not  talking  to  her  about  our  family  history . ” she  replied  with  a  laugh , before  giving  a  nod .  “  oh  yeah ,  abuela  is  100%  on  my  side  and  my  mothers  for  that  matter -  she  nearly  killed  my  dad  when  she  found  out  what  he  done  to  us . ”  she added , before  shaking  her  head .  “ souvenir  , where  do  you  think  i  went - jersey  shore ?  i’m  a  local  in  barcelona -  not  a  tourist .  besides ,  i’m  your gift , babes . ”

he feels the tap on her cheek and he cannot help but let a big smirk paint his features ; like a child who had just seen the biggest ice cream ever. ❛ anytime.❜he whispers back and looks over at rogers who had been calling him for a while. looking around to his fiends and then at gloria ❛ i’ll catch you guys later. ❜ without another word he says goodbye , the rest of the day was a little harder, his mind would drift to gloria from time to time, shaking the thought, he;s making his way to the gym , his shirt in his hand , his body sweaty as he bumps into the brunette ❛hey will y —- sorry , didn’t know it was you . ❜ he wipes his sweat off of her shoulders with his fingers  ❛ all better. ❜

her  hand  raised  offering  him  a  wave  as  he  left .  the  rest  of  the  day  was  strange .  she’d  never  seen  apollo  that  way  before ,  they  had  always  been  just  friends  -  until  that  night ,  the  night  they  spent  together .  she  didn’t  know  if  they’d  hooked  up ,  but  all  the  signs  were  pointing  to  it .  ever  since  then ,  he  would  creep  into  her  mind  at  random  points  in  the  day  and  she  would  get  out  her  phone  to  text  him ,  but  talk  herself  out  of  it.  to  clear  her  mind ,  she  decided  to  run  some  laps  of  the  school  track .  completely  in  a  trance  ,  she  ended  up  bumping  into  someone  and  just  before  her  rage  erupted ,  she  noticed  it  was  him .  “ don’t  sweat  it. ” she  replied  with  a  small  spurt  of  laughter - making  a  joke  about  the  situation .  

❛ nothing. ❜ he says secretly as he places a finger against his lips, teasingly. shaking his head he leans it back , letting the smoke expel from his lips ❛ someone owed me money , i let them get away with it with as much as possible , i did something then his family retaliated and here we are . ❜he says as he pulls his shirt up so she can see the stitches on his stomach . ❛ ts - da !❜

gloria  narrowed  her  eyes  at  his  response ,  how  could  he  be  so  nonchalant  about  almost  being  killed ?   this  whole  dangerous  side  of  him  used  to  be  a  massive  turn  on  for  her ,  but  not  know  -  now  it  was  just  stupid .  she  watched  as  he  lifted  up  his  shirt  her  eyes  widening  at  the  sight .  before  she  knew  it ,  her  hand  reached  out  and  her  fingers  gently  grazed  the  skin  just  below  the  wound .  “ you’re  crazy . ”  she  whispered ,  letting  out  a  soft  laugh . 

“it certainly sounds like it,” the male agrees with a nod. “i think that’s usually the excuse people use, yeah, that sounds about right,” he chuckled. maybe because he hadn’t ever really been a mess and didn’t quite see the need for it, he couldn’t exactly relate. “something easy that doesnt require much. heart throb, perhaps.”

“ a  heart  throb ?  ” gloria  asked ,  her  head  tilting  to  the  side  as  he  had  peaked  her  interest  now .  “ do  you  think  you  have  what  it  takes  to  be  a  heart  throb ?  ”  she  asked ,  cheekily.  “  it  takes  more  than  a  sexy  accent  and  a  cute  smile  to  be  one ,  you know . ”
