Backstory: Blair Ophelia Rhodes was born on August 15 1997 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to her parents Declan and Brittany Rhodes. From a young age she grew up surrounded by fabrics, her mother Brittany and her grandmother Brielle own a small bridal and alterations shop in town where they've for years been able to take dresses that looked like nothing or outfits that people thought were beyond saving and give them new life. While a lot of her peers and kids her age played outside after school, Blair spent her evenings learning how to sew hems, bead gowns, and sketch designs alongside her grandmother and mother.
By age fifteen she was designing prom dresses for the girls she went to school with and making her own clothes that she wore to school. By eighteen when she'd graduated high school, she earned herself a scholarship to study fashion design in New York, where she achieved lots of academic praises from her professors and graduated with all honors.
After graduating she landed internships creating costumes for performers, stunt actors, and even Broadway productions. Everything changed when she happened to meet a friend who was a pro wrestler that needed some last minute help with gear designs and she was more than happy to do so. Pretty soon she was crafting designs for people all over New York and even in other states, her life was forever changed when an NJPW star had slid into her dms while they were doing a US tour and asked for some alterations and design opinions, she ended up sketching and even sewing said designs for the wrestler and that got the attention of NJPW themselves who offered her a job position that was only meant to be temporary. Fast forward to 2026 and it has been well over five years with the company, that temporary position turned very permanent and she's been living in Japan ever since.
