He'd caught himself just watching her once they were inside. He couldn't help it; she was always the most beautiful person he'd seen. He playfully rolled his eyes at her teasing. There was even a little dog bed in the living room for when Yuto was over with his dog.

She didn't care if there wasn't much of the apartment to show. Sharing the moment with him just felt nice. He was good to her, more than she felt she deserved. But, she knew better than to actually say that part. Especially after everything. She still couldn't admit out loud that she just craved a good man like him. "I'm kinda hungry," she eventually said, looking at him.

He couldn't help but chuckle a little when she pouted about not being able to help carry the bags. Though he was happy when she at least accepted, taking the keys and letting them in. He still thought it was surreal that she was even here after all. It didn't seem real, but he was happy she'd taken the time to visit. Would he take it well when she had to go home? Probably not, but that wasn't something he wanted to deal with currently. " Thank you," he said once they were inside and he placed her bags down. It wasn't much, but it was better than living in the hotels. Japan, in general, wasn't really built for a man his size, but it was better in an apartment than in those closets they called hotel rooms.

As stubborn as she was, she knew when she was fighting a losing battle. On the flight there, she'd been so nervous about anything imaginable. She'd only now realized that that had all slipped away. Was it just Oskar's presence alone? She wasn't sure. But, for the moment, she was comfortable. She didn't have that fight or flight reaction trying to get the better of her. Once inside, she'd just looked around a little. It was interesting how compact Japan tended to be, but he seemed to find himself a decent place. Her attention turned back to him finally as she smirked faintly. "You gonna show me around or what?" she teased.

Can't say I blame him for wanting to hold on.

His friend, Yuto? said I'm like a stray cat, which is kinda accurate. I'm just skittish. I can't remember the name, but other than ramen, there was this steak dish we tried that was real good.

" No, you don't have to," he said when she insisted on helping with the bags. Instead, he just handed her the house key. " You can hold those to let us in," he said with a small chuckle. He couldn't help it; her insistence on helping was cute, not that he'd let her carry probably anything heavy while she was there. Though he also had plans to spoil her while she was here.

Nova just pouted for a moment though she'd expected that reaction from him. It was worth a shot though, right? "Okay," she nodded taking the key from him. Having to be independent from a young age, she wasn't used to this. But, she would have been lying if she didn't appreciate it. Once at the front door to the apartment, she unlocked the door so that they could get inside.

I think I've eaten my weight in food tbh. But, no regrets on that. Yeah, I'm still working on fully letting him in. We're getting there.

Oskar smiled faintly at her words. " New York is definitely its own breed," he said calmly. The one time he'd been there, he wasn't sure he could actually ever drive in the city. "Though I can't say much, I've only been there once recently, when New Japan had their show in New Jersey," he added before falling quiet. It didn't take him long to finally get back to his apartment. Once parked, he moved, opening the door for her and then going to get her stuff out of the truck before leading her up to her apartment.

"It's on par with Vegas, but I might be biased since I was born and raised there." She'd always been drawn to big cities, mostly because she could easily lose herself in them. It made it easier to disappear when she wanted to. The silence that followed made her a little nervous though she wouldn't let it show. Just like the exit from the airport, the drive seemed short enough and once again, she was following alongside the man. "Let me help," she insisted, reaching for one of her bags.
