WIPWIPWIPWIPWIP im back on my bullshit of coming back to a wip i've left for ages ,that im about to colour, and just redo the entire lineart instead lol ((im back to drawing now which is nice lol))

just a bougie ass mansion with a merman sized aquarium is defo something i'd see aster installing tbh lol

usually when it comes to hands, if the pose is getting too hard and confusing- I have to remember where the thumb is when you have your hand neutral, (pointing towards the body) that helps me avoid drawing a hand backwards for the most part. trying it out myself with a mirror also helps loads. doesn't matter as much to me when i'm sketching, as long as the essence of the hand is there (mainly the thumb, pointer and pinky) thats fine (because the ring and middle finger usually move in unison you can legit just draw them together, i usually do in the initial sketch). I'd spend more time defining it if its a more detailed piece obvs. the hardest hand poses i can think of is anytime you can't see the entire hand, like the thumb is tucked in or the hands curved/holding something. that stresses me out cos my brain won't allow for things to be hidden sometimes cos i feel like it looks off. Also just remembering that the fingers are slightly webbed so when you put your hand into a fist, the line of your fingers dont go all the way up to the knuckle, thats something i find difficult to remember lmao.

had fun, liked the characters. also played a bit of the leon must die bonus game and wtf why is it so hard?? but yeh really made me want to go back and play the previous leon remakes and og re4 too (im really not interested in the first person games so like sorry Ethan but i'll never play re7 and re8)

this is just a quick spread from my sketchbook of some of the girlies that i've just donned the name "fashion knights" even tho they really just kinda lean more towards fashion girlies with swords and guns then "knights" it really just comes down to that one video game format of cool boss fights over and over and over until the game just ends. So if I doodle a girlie and I'm like oh damn I like her a lot she seems like she'd be fun to fight against as a boss, she joins the league of fashion knights. In my mind they live in a world thats "reality" with fantasy elements so like the fucking crazy architecture you see in some final fantasy games but then also very irl old city designs too. out of the lot here i do enjoy drawing Maple the most, she's a bit of a stickler for rules and i do enjoy in indulging in drawing big naturals every so often. Glacier is just a cool lady that wears a giant puffer jacket in the middle of the desert, rides a motorbike and is a skilled marksman. Spaniel is a fencer, very bubbly owns a dachshund despite her name. Morrigana, a classy older lady, her bird shaped parasol is both a blade and a rifle, just a big puffy ballgown-esque outfit in a fight is so cool to me lol. Wester is a rancher/merchant quick witted but ditzy, shes pink pink pink through out guns and all. and yeah thats them lol i just miss drawing girls sometimes idk

i do, i like my oc's a lot, if i wasn't so stunted when it comes to creative writing I would write more about them but alas. I would like to draw my fashion knight girls some more, I vibe with that game type thats just a boss rush so much, especially if the bosses are just cool and aesthetic (like no more heroes, i guess drakengard 3 would also count in a way too) and my fashion knight girls were based on that sort of story mechanic lol i'll show them on here when i finally draw them again cos its been a while lol. because of everything thats happened to me recently i haven't really been keeping up drawing (the only reason why i am drawing is cos i don't feel right having wips hanging around for so long lmao) but yes i like to talk about my ocs, the ones mentioned here and the ones i've previously mentioned, if anyone is interested to hear me ramble about my children haha.

its always the case of the tall skinny guys just being able to eat the most lol. Yakumo would probs just have that in his skill set but then he also has a mother cooking mentality of loving to cook for others rather then eat himself. Only rarely does his appetite shows (probs just some sort of snake yōkai instinct sets in) and its crazy to see every time.
