Would u be okay with projections like on the tour replacing set pieces in the west end production? Or a vertical dropping chandelier in return of the golden angel.
I'd probably be rather less okay with projections in the West End than on the tour. The tour using projections I can at least reasonably accept as something done to make the tour easier to move around and to set up in different theaters, which makes it more accessible to audience members. The West End production, however, is not a tour, and further the production was originally designed to specifically fit that theater, so I can't really see any good reason for them using projections other than cheapness, I suppose.
And as for the second question, I don't particularly care. I don't have any strong feelings on either the vertically dropping chandelier or the Pegasus statue, and I like the Golden Angel statue and the current chandelier about the same as one another, so it would be switching out a thing I don't really care about for another thing I don't really care about to bring back a thing I care about in the same amount as the other thing. Or to put it in math equation terms:
(+1) (current chandelier) + (-1) (Pegasus) = 0 <- what we have now
(-1) (vertical chandelier) + (+1) (Golden Angel) = 0 <- your proposal
Overall: 0 = 0, no change in my feelings

Wait new masquerade Phantom, Deven Kolluri, just casually dropped on Francesca Mehrotra’s instagram?? (and new Christine in the back if I’m not mistaken) 👀
Japanese costume update:
For their opening in Nagoya, Christine has received some new costumes.
These costumes are based on the London production.
Costumes that have been updated for Nagoya are the Hannibal Slave Girl (1), Elissa Skirt (2-3), Star Princess (7-8) & Aminta (9) & Wedding dress (10).
The Dressing gown (4) updated during the previous stop in Fukuoka.
Of the costumes featured I believe the Rooftop/Countess dress (5-6) is the only costume that has not changed - although the pictures are not the best for confirming.
There are currently no pictures of the il Muto costume or blue dress - although I believe the il Muto costume may have received minor changes in Fukuoka.
