Ok so I'm watching heist with markiplier again and I'm pretty sure iron lung Simon has like mommy issues of some kind I don't think in an abuse way but rather she's dead way and I'm watching the episode where your in prison and you meet Yancy and he sings about recalling killing his mom and I wanna make a yancy older brother to Simon allegation or maybe a yancy is Simon though I like the brother thing better

okay additionally to that it's stated that it's not told in iron lung how his mom died so maybe it's a seeing as though Yancy said "recalling" which confirms he maybe was out of it killed their mom accidentally a long time ago or while high or something and causing Simon to go into terrorism while Yancy had no idea about his brother's doings as Simon probably resented Yancy for it and never visited which seeing as though it seemed Yancy had been in prison for a while I thought maybe he just doesn't bring up his brother

another piece of evidence of this is when Yancy states "it's best if you forget about those family bonds of youses" , "they ain't worth ii, they're always gonna leave you behind so best to just stick what youses, the past ain't the kind of thing to be trifled with" potentially after the intoxication and Yancy ending up in jail he could probably have gotten an epiphany of "oh shit I just killed my mom" and "oh shit I'm never gonna see my brother again" Simon never visits and slowly drive Yancy to connect with the other prisoners

in the next part "prison life for me" it shows the main character to kill someone to stay in jail but to be honest from what I've seen with the main characters hands it could just be Yancy's point of view, he could desperately want to stay in jail so he doesn't have to admit to his mistakes and get with his brother again
