If prose is a house, poetry is a amn on fire running quite fast though it.
just read “to be loved is to be worth the inconvenience” it blew my mind away
"My compassion for you is inconvenient, Will."
“To be loved is to be worth the inconvenience” speaks to the profound truth that love is not merely an ephemeral feeling but a sustained commitment, one that endures the demands, disruptions, and difficulties that another’s existence inevitably brings. Love, at its most authentic, does not measure inconvenience as a cost but rather as proof of devotion, as Rainer Maria Rilke writes, "For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of all our tasks, the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation." True love does not flinch at the weight of responsibility. It absorbs the messiness of another’s needs, as Alain de Botton notes in The Course of Love: "Love is not just an admiration for strength, it is also a tolerance for weakness and recognition of ambivalence." To love is to say, “You are worth the sacrifice of my comfort, my ease, my predictability.” It is a sentiment echoed by Viktor Frankl, who wrote that "love is the only way to grasp another human being in the innermost core of his personality." To truly see another—to know them in their entirety, with their imperfections and idiosyncrasies—is to love them despite, or even because of, the inconveniences they bring. Perhaps the highest testament to love’s endurance comes from Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116: "Love is not love Which alters when it alteration finds, Or bends with the remover to remove." Real love does not tally inconveniences; rather, it transforms them into acts of devotion. It is the patience in illness, the waiting in uncertainty, the willingness to embrace another’s chaos as part of one’s own. As the philosopher Iris Murdoch so aptly put it, "Love is the extremely difficult realisation that something other than oneself is real." In being loved, we are not merely desired in moments of ease—we are chosen, even when choosing us demands effort, sacrifice, and the quiet heroism of staying.
Someday someone is going to be so soft and gentle with your heart ♡
And will love you despite anything.
Will love you because of everything

Þe seasons turn
and winds change
So sun goes
so comes cold
Wið red leaves
ðe trees bleed
Þe widows weep
for loves past
And Deað approaches
harbringing darkness eternal
But not yet.
