âWe? Donât go coupling us together now, stranger. I can just go back and hit up a couple more bars before knocking out at a nearby hotel, no problem.â Kaitou quirked a brow the girlâs way, shaking his head. He was more than accustomed to having to find another place to stay for the night. She on the other hand hardly looked ready to surrender herself to cheap motel bedsheets.
"Anyway, if you must be troubled with me â or the other way around â I am Kaitou Nagano, an alumnus. I previously held the title of Ultimate Empath, though Iâve a bit of a mixed reputation with the students. âŚNot that you needed to know any of that trivia, but the look in your eyes suggested that you were curious why I wasnât matching you up with whatever rumors exist surrounding your name, so I decided to level with you.â
A smirk drew itself on the teenâs lips as he turned away, sauntering at a steady tempo away from the school gates. âYou are, judging by your appearance, inner thoughts, and the vague information I know, one Iris Matsuno, correct? Feel free to properly introduce yourself if youâd like, but Iâd rather we chat over some sushi. Care to join me?â Whether he drew the attention of the snowy-haired maiden or not, Kaitou was done standing in front of the sealed gateway. One way or another, he was going back for another round of those dragon rolls.

ăShe'd been less than enthusiastic of the idea, albeit his rather bluntness proved even more so irritating; a mere aggravated sigh was given in response. However finding a hotel did seem the greater plan - luckily, she'd taken bank card whilst departing prior.  ă
ăSimple huff was given in response to his first statement - though she could recall his given name. Rumors circling around him weren't too kind, albeit nor were her own. His unperturbed attitude was oddly inviting in such situations; perhaps he'd prove not too bad himself. Small smile betrayed her attempts to stay apathetic t'wards he, and hostility eventually dissipated.ă
âindeed i am. i'm known for many things - though, my title is ultimate pianist...â
ăAt the mention of food, an overwhelming - however brief - feeling of utmost exhaustion flooded her. 'Twas over before she could decline the offer, though, and she in fact found herself nodding to the idea.ă
âthat... sounds better than standing around here any longer.â
