to the old you, from the old me

having a diagnosis is tough but what sucks even more than that is never getting a correct diagnosis. never knowing wtf is wrong with you. why you can’t focus even though you try really hard. why you live in a constant state of brain fog. why you simply can’t exist around other people or loud noises. having a million questions and never getting the answers. never having anyone taking you seriously. feeling like you have given your everything and only being told to try harder. i definitely can’t function like a normal person should and still no one can point out what the problem is.

It seems like everyone I see looks like you. I see you all the time but your face is never quite right – and it breaks my heart cause I’m not sure what exactly you used look like and maybe those faces look nothing like yours and I’m just hanging on to anything I can.
