you know, what I haven't seen talked about is that even with AI "art", is that it still requires taste and understanding (which is a skill) of what makes "good art" to produce a good image. Like a thousand AI art bros can generate a million images but none of them will look remotely good if they don't understand what they're even making
I saw a 3D animator on youtube compare their work with one they generated with AI side by side and like.... they both look good, and close to what they made themself because they know what they're doing. They know exactly what they wanted to make. They already had the vision of what the final product should look like, and they know the technical details that make it look good
unfortunately realistically i don't think AI is going to ever fully go away, but I don't think the AI "artists" are going to last. because they see art as a means to an end, and when that gets boring/stops benefitting them, well, why continue
