summary :: you’re one of the many few people who actually understand giyuu isn’t cold and mean — he’s just quiet.
one evening, you and giyuu were sitting on the backyard porch of your estate. things the two of you do quite often since giyuu had a pond in his backyard that seemed to make everything so much more calmer. you were talking about nothing much, just random things, and you were mostly just blabbing and rambling on and on. despite you literally talking about nothing,, he was listening to every word so carefully, like every word mattered.
at night, when the world is quiet and and nightfall comes to the town, he stays up a little later,, truly ensuring you were actually asleep before telling you about how happy you make him, how much you mean to him, and how he will protect you. then, he gives you a gentle kiss on the forehead before laying down and finally sleeping.
the only time you’ll catch him saying “ i love you “ or “ you mean so much to me “ is by actions. he’ll cook and clean for you, he’ll always step in front of you and a potential threat to your wellbeing. he even does it without thinking.
you’re his safe place — a place he could go to for anything and everything. even if he doesn’t say it outloud, at least not when you can’t hear it. and that’s what you love. you never really liked loud love anyways. you preferred quiet, private, peaceful love instead of the public, loud, chaotic one.
now, when others found out about you guys’ relationship, they thought he was a bad partner. when he was the complete opposite. he always remembered little things, always protected you, and even went as far as to take you to sabitos and tsutakos grave whenever you were around when he went. you are always his main priority no matter what, and he even swore to make sure he wouldn’t lose you like he lost the two people he cared for most.
he loved you in his own way, and as long as you knew he loved you more than his life,, thats all that mattered. <3
