my mother told me that you can’t cure depression; that taking pills wouldn’t fix me, and taking six instead of the prescribed two definitely wasn’t going to speed up the process. but i met a boy who tasted better than prozac. he made it easier to be out of bed. he kissed me like i was alive, like i wasn’t empty, like maybe there was something left inside of me. he made my bones ache less when he touched me. he made it okay. when my world was crashing down around me, he picked up all the pieces. when i stopped breathing and tried to tear open my wrists to find the last little bits of happiness left in my veins, he was there to lace me back together. but he left. i haven’t slept in three days. my mother was right.

Wow your poems are really great, you're very talented. I wanted to say that I feel identified with some of them and that I know that when people can express themselves that way it's because they've been through a lot of shit so I'm sorry for that and I thank you for your poems, they can help people get through their stuff. Keep it up :)

I truly don't think you understand how much this meant to me. All of the messages mean something to me. Because when i have a bad day and i log into tumblr and i see a message telling me i've helped, i feel i've done something right, and i've succeded at what i'm trying to do. and that is to make sure no one has to go through life alone. Even if its only one person, thats one more person helped.
