Momento Mori

So I am sure most everyone has seen that Tumblr has made the “smart” *sarcasm* decision to eliminate all the adult content in the next two weeks….

What else is Tumblr good for? The looseness of the social media “contender” *more sarcasm* was the main reason anyone I knew, utilized the site. Do they truly hope that by eliminating adult content, that somehow people will be more inclined to use the site? Killing off adult orientated material will lead to a death rattle previous reserved for MySpace. This was a healthy space where people could Express sexuality with anonymity. Now, with the literal thousands of adult orientated blogs gone…what is there to keep us? What revelation is going to RIP others from already established social media and encourage them to begin anew.

Tumblr, this is a poor choice and alienates many introverted people from there only outlet. This is an attack on sex workers and fetishists. This is a move that will hurt more people than you will ever get to sign up…and for what? Tumblr, do you suffer from so much tech penis envy, that you’re only move is to sell out for hopes of being able to stand next to Suckerberg at the social media urinal?

You had an area all your own. Stood out from the crowd and said “All are welcome!”…and now, you join the other sheep, sucking at the teet of the religious right.

For shame….shame on you.

At 2 a.m. one day, after lecturing followers for 5 hours about plans to move the settlement to the Soviet Union, Jones put an old man on « trial » for telling another followers he wanted to leave by Christmas.

“By Christmas you’d like to be gone?“ Jones asked the man before the assembled community.

“Can I make a trip to see my peoples?“ the man timidly asked. “I’d like a roundtrip ticket.“

Jones responded, “I have the power to send you home by Christmas — but it won’t be on Trans-World Airlines. If I cease meditating for you, you won’t need to go home. You understand how many things are wrong with you? Blindness faces you early. Death faces you early by liver. Do you want to go home?“

March 26, 2009-

27 yr old Olesya Mostovschikova was drinking with a friend named Tatiana Romanchuk and another named “Julie”. Olesya’s 7 year old son was also present that evening. Olesya and Tatiana had a disagreement, and the two began to fight; Olesya grabbed an axe and chopped her buddy to bits. Then she decided to place those bits (eye, arm, hand, etc) in the oven.

Waste not, want not, I suppose.

Julie helped Olesya cut up, cook, and move the corpse to the cellar, but it doesn’t look like she did so on her own accord- Olesya promised to do the same to her if she didn’t help. The women then ate their murdered friend- with Julie reportedly asking for more. At that point the pair cut some more flesh from Tatiana (butt, breast, etc) and they fried those morsels up.

The next day Olesya cut some more meat from her victim in the cellar, but she disposed of some of the bones in a dumpster. A neighbor saw these leg bones when he went to take his own trash out; he noticed they were human legs and contacted police.

Investigators canvassed the area; they found blood and some of Tatiana’s parts in Olesya’s yard; didn’t take long to find the rest of her in the cellar. Olesya and Julie were arrested, the two told all about what happened. Julie was deemed to be innocent as she was threatened into helping. Its reported the 7 year old child witnesses all of what happened- the murdering and the cooking. Its not said whether the boy was forced to eat or not. He was taken to a children’s home.

Olesya was facing 15 years in prison. I’ve not a single clue what she was sentenced to.
