Molly Weasley meant well most of the time. She really did, and in spite of all of the times that her motherâs overprotective doting had infuriated her in the past, Ginny still appreciated it deep down. She didnât mind being the only one of her siblings whom her mother had been adamant about sending back to Hogwarts to finish school. She looked forward to receiving letters from home updating her on what was going on, even when they mostly contained lengthy descriptions of her elder brothersâ various achievements. But then there was this.
For a while, the youngest Weasley sat impassive on her bed as she studied the clipping from Witch Weekly---a not unsubstantial feature on her boyfriend, her brother and one of her best friends that Molly had attached with this weeks letter, circling the paragraph in which Ginny herself was mentioned. Which she wouldnât have minded as much, if it werenât for the fact that the whole thing was about the âlooksâ and âcharismaâ of âHarry Potterâs girlfriendâ and hadnât even bothered to mention her by name.
With an aggravated expression, she crumpled the article in her hand and dropped it onto the floor, running her fingers through her hair as she sighed. She didnât want to care, but she could no longer pretend that she didnât. Ginny didnât necessarily want to be famous, but if she was going to be, she would like it to be for more than who she was dating.
