　　"Sassan! Check this out! I can almost..." His voice trails off as he concentrates, his kagune slinking out and seeming to shake itself with focus. Finally, a few small projectiles pop out and explode in the air before hitting anything.

    “Stop,” she whines. She pushes both hands into his face and away from her. “You’re making it weird. You’re making the gods of mistletoe upset.”

    “Wonder how that mistletoe got there. Kinda ominous, no? Something tells me we oughta smooch so it doesn’t get mad.”

　　okay so for jujutsu kaisen au shirazu really doesn’t need to change much, he’s prob a...2nd year??? in sorcerer school or w/e, his mom left the family and his dad eventually got killed by a curse, a curse fucked up his sister so he’s tryna do right by her. still has the main goal of getting money for her hospital bills, also hoping to cure her someday... maybe she got like. traumatized/fucked up like that one dude from the club but like. they can’t heal her for some reason. idk. i’m still a baby jjk fan i’m learnin’

    “Them’s the magic words, bucko. Heh. You’re trying awfully hard there. Can it be…you wanna take me home? Mm, I dunno, those chompers are sexy, but a guy who can’t even call me his creamy, dreamy girl—is that really the kinda guy I oughta scurry along with? You gotta say it like you mean it.”

　　THE EMBARRASSMENT FROM whatever the fuck that even means isn’t helping him to understand this at all, and he shoves his hands into his coat pockets nervously. Does this mean she’s not mad at him anymore?  “ If I didn’t wanna take ya home, I wouldn’t bother tryin’ t’say this! “  The exclamation itself should probably be making him more self-conscious than the phrase, and yet.  “ ‘at doesn’t even make sense, “   He grumbles, referring directly to the thing she wants him to say, unhappy at the insinuation that it’s what’ll make him worth it.  “ Yer kinda difficult. “

   “Heh. Here’s a hint—flash your teeth, call me your creamy, dreamy girl, and I will be your queen. Yours to take home today: it’s just that simple.”

He paused for a moment, he forgot that his music was still playing. Quickly, he pressed the power button on his phone to blacken the screen and stop it. Instead of just pausing it, like a normal person would. Panic. 

“…Yeah, I’m sure.”

　　THE SILENCE THAT FOLLOWS IS ALMOST UNSETTLING, after the blaring music and sort-of argument. What an absolutely weird turn this has taken, and Shirazu can’t be sure it isn’t somehow his fault.

    “Is…that what you want from me?” Her expression froze. If he was thinking what she thought he was thinking, this wasn’t at all going how she hoped. Yes, technically, she could be booked by the hour, but she’d never accepted a job like that. Cherry became acutely aware of just how warm her face felt. How obnoxious.

    “Are you some kind of moron?” Not the best thing to say to someone she was just coming on to. “You really…but then…I only said…” She wanted to tear the card away from him, read it over, and figure out exactly where she went wrong. “You think I’m a hooker!” It was yelped a little too loudly. Between her thin wince and mean squint, it was impossible to tell if she felt more hurt or incredulous. 

    “Look! I know how it sounds, ‘Cherry Martini,’ but that’s my honest to God name!” It wasn’t. “It’s not some stripper pseudonym like…like, I dunno, Ginger Snaps? You want my nudes that bad, I’ll sell ’em, but…crap.” With a low growl, she pinched the bridge of her nose. “I was being cute. Never introduced myself, so I thought maybe—I was trying to give you my number! I just wrote it. Right there. Right on the back!”

　　WHAT HE WANTS FROM HER? Isn’t it what she’s offering? He didn’t want anything from her, reallyーthey’d just bumped into each other a few times by chance! Wait, did she think he was out looking for a hooker?!

　　“ I-I didn’t mean anything by it! It’s justー’cause the way you were talkin’ an’ all, an’, an’ the business cardー “  He doesn’t seem bothered by the volume of their conversation, not so much as sparing a passing glance at anyone that might have heard the turn it’s taken. His eyes fall back to the business card, and he turns it over, cheeks darkening as he sees the number scrawled there. He just...hadn’t thought that she...this...

   “   i wouldn’t care if you were - don’t kill me and i’ll let those bad boys get inside me any day.   ”   he was usually quite picky with his partners, sometimes he would take whatever to soothe the loneliness ( and unease from not doing it for awhile ) — but. when an oppotunity like THIS arises ??

   he can’t like the shark(teeth) get away.   “   don’t worry, i can make you cry.   ”   when the other said that, lyle only saw a challenge.   “   usually isn’t always, babe. besides, even if you’ve never - i can open up a whole new world.   ”   he coos suggestively, before shrugging.   “   or, who gives a shit about that. we can just get our rocks off. i just want your teeth, after all, seeing you cry isn’t high on that list.   ”

　　“ YER PERSISTENT, HUH? “  Shirazu sighs, raising a hand to scratch at the back of his head. It’s not like he’s got a problem with it, he’s just not used to doing it quite this way. He’s not usually the type to get unsolicited invitations on the street like this. ( Most people are put off by his frightening appearance than, uh, turned on by it. )

    “Oh.” She looks almost disappointed. Awkward pause. “You want my card or something? Wanna dream about me a bit before you commit to the chomp? I get it. We all get performance anxiety now and then.” Cherry pulls a slim, metallic rectangle from her purse. A white card is retrieved from it. She scribbles her personal number on the back, then gives it to him, business side up. The subdued font in deep blue ink seems at odds with her vibrancy. 

    Cherry Martini, it reads. Art of All Trades. Multiple modes of contact and a website are printed tidily below it. “I’m good for all kinda stuff.” The words are carefully chosen and purposefully vague. “Including bed-warming.”

　　SHIRAZU STARES AT HER. Her card? Is she serious? He’s actually not even sure what she means by that. After all, she’s saying an awful lot. He doesn’t quite know what to say, but utters a small,  “ Whoa, “  when she actually pulls out a card case.  “ Um, I’ve never paid fer this kinda thing... “  It’s sad that he thinks that’s the cause of her supposed attraction to him, but at least he believes her now?

　　He takes the card, albeit hesitantly, and stares at it. He’s not sure what it means. It’s certainly not what he expects, because he definitely thinks she’s running some kind of sex business, and he jumps at the ending of her words, a jolt running through him.

    “Why are you worried? Thinking about chomping me up? Mighty gutsy to admit it—ooh, I’m getting shivers.” She grins. She can’t decide if she’s trying to goad him, or if she’s merely amused.
