When my life seems good, there's still a part of me that's just waiting for it to mess up. it's been a tough couple of years. I'm happy, but that doesn't take away from the things I've been through.

In the span of a week, I decided I didn't really like my part time job, so I quit and got a job as a tour guide. Now I get to spend all day sitting on a boat. If you don't like something about your life, change it.

We learn compassion when we allow others' lives to become as important as our own.

Good lives can have bad days. Even when things don't go right, I remind myself of that. This summer brought me a new car, a new apartment, and a new relationship, and I'm so thankful for all of it.

Today was not a good day.
